I'm only on the second episode but I'm in love and believe this show is very deserving of the high ratings and praise it's been getting. Already regretting any time I wasted on CW's superhero shows. So far they fail in comparison to this piece of cinematic art.
The many bad reviews I've read still haven't prepared me for how bad this movie was.
Couldn't be more glad about going into this not knowing anything or having read any review about it. Made it that much more enjoyable for me. Very good, and surprisingly quite funny. We need more Superheroine movies like this one.
Classic. One of my favorite twists in any movie ever.
To lovers of all things Horror, this show is a must watch. Absolutely 100% recommend it.
Watching the first season and witnessing how unbelievably great and well written, acted and directed it was, I was very baffled to know that the series aired only for 3 seasons. But continuing with the show and the story, I understand the writer's need to end it where it did. There were still so many endings for certain characters left open, so many things that still needed explaining, but I could do without them. After all, Eva Green is what really made the show, it was her story, it is only fair it ends with her.
The concept of the movie is very unique and original (to me at least), I truly enjoyed watching every minute of it. Every aspect of it was very well done and it really gets you thinking the entire time. Not to mention the chemistry between Ewan and Eva is insanely amazing and beautiful. It has you hooked till literally the very last second of the film.
One of very few movies to me that every time I re-watch it is like watching it for the first time. <3
Finally got Dean Winchester's reference to this.
This actually was a surprisingly good and entertaining movie.
Where to even begin with this show? Semi bearable in the first half but then it drags on and becomes an insanely boring broken record. Not to mention they couldn't have casted or written a more unlikable lead character, my god. So glad it got cancelled. Faye was the best part and the only reason I made it through till the end.
This show was a pleasant surprise. I only checked it out because I wanted to watch something for Phoebe Tonkin, but then found myself watching episode after episode, and eventually finished the show in a week. It's so much fun and very well written. And I just realized their families never found out they were mermaids. Ha!
