Search is one of the most important features of trakt, it is available on every page of the desktop site. Here, the search is relegated to 3 tabs on the nav bar, and that bar goes way whenever you are browsed to a movie or show. Having to click home at the top or swipe back however many screens you just clicked through to get back to an available search button is very frustrating UX. As phones are getting bigger, it is much harder to use the top of screens one-handed, hence often swiping back

Disappointed. Way too busy, harder to navigate than the website itself. Too much focus around finding new shows/movies, not enough on what I'm already tracking. Liked the movie section for finding and tracking. Graphics are nice. Not a fan of much else, unfortunately. Probably won't use it as is. Reply to Trakt: Features aren't missing, they're just buried in all the other stuff. Your app doesn't feel like it's for tracking anything, it reads and performs more like an app to discover new media.

Thanks for the feedback. We try to have buttons to track (i.e. add plays) on pretty much every screen. On your home tab, the first section is for episodes with a track button. Movies have a similar button (purple check) throughout. For shows and seasons, we'll add a "watching now" concept in a future update. This will allow checkins for the next ep

So glad this is finally available for Android, and I'm not disappointed, it's speedy, it has all the options I need, the ads are not too intrusive, the UI is nice and well thought out, would like to see the option to hide the movie/tv recommendations tabs at the bottom for an even cleaner user interface, and it would also be nice if the watchlist had separate tabs for movies and tv series, so they weren't all combined, but as of initial release, great job!!!
