The Gentlemen: Season 1

Despite somewhat of a lacking and rushed finale, I didn't hesitate for a second to give the show a double thumbs up on Netflix after finishing it. Truly one of the most entertaining and hilarious shows I've watched recently.

At least it's still consistently funny.

Ted Lasso: Season 1

Rebecca eating those cookies every day all season and it never affecting her weight is the most unrealistic thing this show has to offer.

The Last of Us: Season 1

Bella Ramsey and her character are the best thing about this show. It has been an absolute pleasure watching her consistently stellar performance and loving and rooting for her amazing character.

Definitely a step up (or two) from the second season. They've put more effort, but it's still feels unoriginal. A mashup of recycled stories and iconic speeches from other Austen projects, with a dash of cringy fan service and wokeism.

I may have lost actual brain cells watching this. Was it always this bad?

An improvement from the first terrible season, thanks to a better and more likable cast, but the storytelling and the main detective are still not compelling enough. Also, that poor kid had 3 different women acting like mothers and none of them bothered to provide him with a chapstick. That's the true crime here.

Thank god for Esther for giving us a brilliant and nuanced performance that made the season worthwhile. And the growth of Arthur was a pleasant surprise too. Separating him from dramatic Diana did him well. LOL. However, I don't think I'm a fan of any of the new characters. And has Charlotte always been this mind numbingly boring? I get that she's grieving, but my god, I would rather watch paint dry than whatever character choices the actress or the writers were making.

Sanditon: Season 1

A good and entertaining first season. The build up of the "main" relationship was very believable and meticulous and it had the potential of having one of the most rewarding happy Jane Austen endings. So either the writers wanted to deviate from that, or they genuinely didn't think the show would be cancelled and they wouldn't be able to finish the story properly.

The Time Traveler's Wife: Season 1

Not sure how I feel about it yet. It's way too repetitive to the point where it feels like I just saw the same episode 6 times. The book is one of my top favorites, so no doubt I was always planning on watching the show, but I don't know if I'll recommend it to anyone. Though, I do know that the first half is definitely better than the second. And that the second episode is the best in the season. Especially the very emotional and very moving scene of Henry introducing Clare to his mother. I was excited for Rose's portrayal but her Clare come off unlikable a lot of the times. For a second there, you couldn't help but feel like Henry was almost tragically trapped in that relationship. Still, I'm looking forward to a hopefully better constructed second season.

Suits: Season 9

Having Mike back for few episodes reminded me why I stopped watching when he left. Everything and everyone was elevated when he returned.

Suits: Season 8

Katherine Heigl is the greatest thing to ever happen to the season. Samantha and Robert have the best scenes/dynamic.

Obviously the superior season and the superior couple.

Honestly, Ingrid and Luke are the highlight of the season. They're both hilariously awesome.

A slight improvement from the first season but still not funny enough.

Arrested Development: Season 4

Sorry to say I'm not looking forward to watching S5 at all. I knew S4 would not be the same but I didn't expect it to lose pretty much all charm and magic of the previous seasons. With the exception of Gob and Buster's episodes, this season was a complete drag. And was a struggle to get through.

The Crown: Season 3

Underwhelming season with recycled plot. Replacing the cast was the biggest mistake they did. They could've aged them or continued in that time period. The Aberfan disaster episode and young Charles are the only two upsides I can think of.

In all honesty, this would've been a total waste of time if it weren't for Cherise and Clyde.

Grey's Anatomy: Season 15

In my humble opinion one of the best seasons in a while. I've enjoyed it thoroughly. And it gave us Atticus Lincoln. Who quickly became an absolute favorite of mine.

I was ready to cry tears of laughter from how much this was promoted as the funniest sketch show in history. I didn’t. Overrated.

The Haunting of Hill House: Season 1

My favorite kind of shows are the ones where the only way to watch it is to give it your full attention, otherwise you'll miss so much because it's so smartly written. This definitely was one of them. Didn't expect it to be such a character driven story, every single one is unique and individual in a well rounded way. Incredible cinematography, intelligent dialogue, and extremely talented cast both young and old. The horror factor is only the icing on a really entertaining and well done cake. So many of what happens in the season stays and lingers at the back of your brain long after you've watched it because it's so emotionally traumatising. 100% would recommend.

Marvel's Daredevil: Season 3

Probably the best one yet, judging it as a whole. So many great characters introduced and played by wonderful actors. Dex. Ray, Maggie and the return of Fisk truly elevated the season to another level. The quality remained consistent and engaging throughout.

Marvel's Jessica Jones: Season 2

I must be in the minority who’ve enjoyed this season way more than the first. Solid acting and directing throughout. The quality seemed consistent. There was not a single episode that lost my attention. And this time around I actually did give a crap about the name title of the series.

Anne with an E: Season 2

I don’t think this season was meant to be binge-able. It’s best to watch a couple at a time and to ignore the themes and issues discussed not so very subtly. When the story is flowing normally is when you’ll feel and enjoy it the most.

Marvel's The Defenders: Season 1

That moment when in literally every interview and every panel and every article the praise for Sigourney Weaver from the cast and crew is endless. Then the season airs and I'm like ????????. She was described as villain at times and as a complex character at others, but honestly, she was neither. From start to finish her character was on the same bland and uninteresting rhythm. In general, I think the season needed smarter and less repetitive scripts and better directing. But it was still entertaining with really cool scenes here and there and a rewarding end.

Marvel's Daredevil: Season 2

Very good and entertaining season, second half is less so than the first. Rewatching both seasons in few days makes it easy to compare the two, which makes me realize even with Elektra and The Punisher, both of which are awesome additions that I absolutely loved, I think the first season is still much better as a whole. Way more balanced and consistent with more focus on the title character. Which I think this show lacks sometimes.

Marvel's Daredevil: Season 1

Very glad I decided to rewatch the first season. So many things I missed and didn't pay attention to before. Smart script, great performances, brilliant directing, amazing soundtrack and sound editing. All around a very well done show. 10/10 would recommend.
