If the entire season of boring bus metas was building up to that single opening scene of DeVoe storming the black ops site, IT WAS 100% WORTH IT. That was so badass and so well done. Not to mention David as DeVoe was hella accurate. Damn. That was such a good episode. About time we got some Original Team Flash scenes.
I mean we know he's dead (rest in peace Adan Canto ), I don't understand dragging the Arman mystery for as long as they did.
It's soooo sad that Ryann and Trey can't even be friends anymore because of a certain insecure someone. Ugh! THEY ARE SO PURE AND DESERVE THE WORLD. Also, Alex and Kat give such Cameron and Daphne (from The White Lotus) vibes it's insane.
All around a really good episode with amazing acting (especially from Tom, wow.) It's like they knew we're desperate for good tv under this quarantine. LOL Though I can't get over how fast Richard is deteriorating. Everyone is beating themselves up over not catching the signs before, but I don't think there were any? Not until last episode at least.
Season is over and I still stand corrected that Dinah is the best thing about it. I hope she’ll be utilized more next season. That’s all I’m going to say.
So, a 150 questions to find the common denominator between the departed and none of them was did you ever secretly wish them gone?
It's so scary how people are so willing to create havoc and commit all kinds of crimes and violence in the name of "Justice."
I think the day has come when I see Jessica Chastain in a role where I don't buy what she's selling. The movie would have been so much better if it was shorter and less pretentious.
Such a genuinely funny and feel good movie. It's so entertaining and never drags that you don't really feel the time passing. Which is such a rarity nowadays. Yes, it's fairly predictable and full of period drama cliches, but that's why we love them. ;) Zawe absolutely KILLED it. Her performance and character definitely were the highlight for me. And could be the reason I'd rewatch it again.
That last scene is one of the sweetest things I've ever watched in a movie ever. I couldn't stop repeating it. :heartbeat:
Easily the best episode of S2 so far. Unpopular opinion but I feel like this is the first time I see Elizabeth written in such a way that makes her unbelievably human and sympathetic. Absolutely loved it.
Even though I'm few decades too late, but I'm happy that I watched this for the first time after having watched Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. I must be living under a rock because when I watched both movies, I had no idea of the Alien Franchise that came out before it. Though I gotta say, the characters' actions here are not as stupid and infuriating as in the prequels.
Not a gamer, so no idea about the world whatsoever. Watched this as another Fassbender project. He was great as always, but I have so many questions, so many. I still enjoyed watching it. The directing here is something else.
Don't you just love it when an episode is just so amazingly written? Ah, too good.
Damn. So much sexual tension between Dinah and Oliver. STOP FIGHTING AND MAKE OUT. Uhm, what. Anyway, I really, really like her character. She is so badass but with a heart of gold. Her scenes are the highlight of the episode, as per usual.
Bravo! That is how you do an all girl team up. Take notes, Flash. No tacky "hashtag feminism" lines and forced friendships. Everyone was helpful and contributed equally. Both teams on space and earth were interesting and fun to watch. Go Supergirl! This season continues to impress me. Kara is still breaking my heart over losing Mon-El. Though that scene at the balcony made my heart less achy.
I would've enjoyed this more if Jericho was someone with a less aggravating voice and a more likable personality. I know he's supposed to be a sociopath, but it's too much. You can't really care or feel for him. Half the time I wanted them to put a bullet in his head.
Don’t trust the good reviews. 80% of this show is the equivalent of watching paint dry. You. Will. Feel. Every. Minute. That. Passes. Unnecessarily long and boring.
Is Ryan Reynolds ever NOT acting like Deadpool? Guess Deadpool is just Ryan Reynolds.
The constant revisiting and reminiscing of the past is getting really boring. And slightly annoying with that music.
Please, PLEASE, someone agree with me that Mon-El really WAS NOT as bad as Kara, the writers and the fandom makes him out to be. I really don't think he was a jerk at all. He was knew to the world and did not know any better, and right off the bat Kara wanted to make him something or someone he was not ready to be. And when confronted he tried to be better. There was never a malicious bone in his body. I'm tired of having to hear him agree with the awful things that's being said about him.
Other than that, this really was a good and an emotional episode. I enjoyed every part of it, might've even shed a tear or two. incredible actors, all of them. Best show in the Arrowverse right now.
I mean, they're both doing horrible things to each other. But why do I only feel bad for Dan? :( His face when he saw his car was gut-wrenching.
I was so thrilled and excited to have B99 back in my life... then the episode started. This show has become too woke for its own good. Let's hope the cringe AF writing was all crammed in the premiere so they get it out of the way and move on politics free for the rest of the season.:fingers_crossed:
Ahhhhh! I missed this show and these people and how they made me feel all the feels.
Sorry, but am I supposed to know who this Harris guy is and what he has to do with anything?
Good episode. And is half the team going on their own spin off or what’s going on? So many mentions of the Huntress. Miss her.
It's unsettling how well Eddie is dealing with all of this. I mean I get he's a soldier but I doubt he's seen stuff this dark before. On the one hand he wants out of the business, yet it seems he's slightly enjoying the mess it's causing around him. Also, Wham Tam is WAY too cool for Freddy. Girl, what are you doing with a guy like that? Divorce his ass.
Every character and actor in this movie is so alive and dynamic and then there's Emily Blunt.
One day people will see Jordan Peele's movies for what they actually are; glorified garbage.
Anyone else found it weird how no one approached Caitlin after she shared the news? They just left her there to cry and collapse on her own. Anyways, I like this Mark guy. Hope he sticks around with and for Caitlin.
There's no escaping sounding like a snob when saying this, but I'll say it anyway. Honestly every "twist" in the season was obvious from a mile away. Time travel is a tricky subject matter but it's hardly "brilliant" writing. The first half of the season nearly put me to sleep, and the latter was entertaining enough, but it's not really that great or original.
