Big mistake wasting movie night on this. Cringe worthy from start tup finish.
The music cues are so beautiful. The directing is aesthetically pleasing. The acting is amazing. I find myself looking forward to this show every week this year.
Tom/Harry and Danielle/Caitlin are the only reason I'm still watching this. Two episodes in a row full of both is good. Please keep it up.

The two halves feel like completely different movies. Second half is far more interesting and enjoyable, the first while visually stunning and perfectly acted, was a bit too slow and boring. And the couple made me feel a bit weird, I don't know why. Maybe because Tom looks like he could be her father? Anyways, the only thing I found truly heartbreaking in this movie is even though 3 years have passed, Hannah still visits her husband's grave and cries her heart out like he just died yesterday. And to see what the couple have put her through is really awful. No sympathy for them.
Really surprised with Ryan's performance. I didn't expect he'd pull off such a role. Very impressive! Beautiful and very realistic movie.
I would've enjoyed this more if Jericho was someone with a less aggravating voice and a more likable personality. I know he's supposed to be a sociopath, but it's too much. You can't really care or feel for him. Half the time I wanted them to put a bullet in his head.
It's been a while since I've not wanted a movie to be over. I coulda and woulda watched 10 hours of this awesomeness.

Didn't know much about it and only entered this at the cinema because my first three choices were fully booked, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I truly enjoyed it. Very intense, very exciting, and quite heartbreaking at times. Plus, not many actors out there can singlehandedly carry a movie on their shoulder. Halle is magnificent here.
Makes you feel nostalgic for things you don't know or remember. Absolutely loved it. Hugh Jackman is brilliant, as always.
I expected a lot of things from this movie, I did not expect to it be funny. What a delightful surprise! Really worth the watch, and re-watch. It's fast and witty and magical and awesome. Definitely would recommend giving it a shot. Whoever was in charge of casting Charlie did this movie a great service. There's no one more charismatic and badass out there than Jax Teller.
This movie should've stayed on my watchlist. It having two of my favorite actors ever still didn't make it worth my while.
Ryan and Sam are hilarious together, I haven't laughed this hard in a while. The duo is the best part, everything else is below average.
That moment when in literally every interview and every panel and every article the praise for Sigourney Weaver from the cast and crew is endless. Then the season airs and I'm like ????????. She was described as villain at times and as a complex character at others, but honestly, she was neither. From start to finish her character was on the same bland and uninteresting rhythm. In general, I think the season needed smarter and less repetitive scripts and better directing. But it was still entertaining with really cool scenes here and there and a rewarding end.
Very good and entertaining season, second half is less so than the first. Rewatching both seasons in few days makes it easy to compare the two, which makes me realize even with Elektra and The Punisher, both of which are awesome additions that I absolutely loved, I think the first season is still much better as a whole. Way more balanced and consistent with more focus on the title character. Which I think this show lacks sometimes.
Just watched this again. Really, really awesome pilot. Even better the second time around. The sound editing was something that I noticed later on but apparently it was there from the beginning. I guess it's essentially the equivalent of Matt's POV in the series, which is why I loved how it's there in a lot of the scenes, especially the amazing and well choreographed fights. A very well done and beautiful start. You're immediately sucked into Daredevil's world and I love it.

I can't believe it took me this long to watch this. Awesome style. Brilliant directing. Amazing script. Badass soundtrack. Wonderful cast. Entertaining from start to finish, not a single dull moment. I also loved how unpredictable it is. With your usual Superhero movies, you know the Heroes will always do the right thing, there's no wondering what if. Here with the "villains", it was the exact opposite, which was incredibly refreshing and exciting. Really really fun movie.
The good in the show doesn't make up for the bad. I was surprised to hear it got renewed for a second season at Comic Con, then wasn't so surprised after reading the showrunner is going to be different. Maybe they will work on what made this show a huge failure. I can already see Iron Fist/Danny Rand bringing down the quality of The Defenders.

LOL that was so accurate. Though, just like Tarzan, the jungle didn't diminish Danny's good spirt. I love that after everything he went through, he is still good with a pure heart.
I was going to say that it seems Joy and Ward have switched personalities in this episode, but I guess she's faking her hostility towards Danny? I don't know what's going on with her but I am intrigued.
The writing isn't that good, too slow and repetitive in a one episode, but it's not unwatchable-y bad either. Not the worst pilot out there. Definitely better than Luke Cage's, in my honest and humble opinion. And Danny is far more likable, too. But how is this not Oliver Queen's story? Very similar so far.
Is it too late to recast the actor who plays Luke Cage? Maybe this will save the character and the upcoming seasons of the show, if there are any. It seems he is the weakest link of many weak links. Don't think it's a show I'd watch twice, quite struggled to finish it even. But Misty Knight and Claire Temple made it worth my time.
Rachel and Mike are both so civil and precious and I love them so much.
