A tad slow at times... Often cheesy. But a relatively well executed adaptation. I can't say how through they held themselves to the source material but as a novice who played 2 games based on D&D it's close enough.
The characters are very charming, the CG is top tier. Often better executed than Marvel. (to draw a fair comparison)
All in all, worth a watch assuming you ain't expecting a masterpiece. Enjoy it for what it is.
It's an interesting movie for sure, I can't credit it more than that. Not sure I have to say more either.
Wouldn't surprise me if this episode isn't included on live television anymore.
The movie wasn't bad (not great either), but my main issue is I don't see the connection to the series...
It's a quiet place meets Resident Evil... And it fails at both.
A mediocre movie that goes a bit too far with how stupid people are. I can't help but feel scared how I slowly see a growing social media audience represent the movie.
But yea... A very mediocre movie... But I appreciate the unfiltered approach with profanity.
It's uncanny to have this to be such an enjoyable romcom. I don't think anyone tuned in expecting anything more than a 6/10.
The good:
- I spend 2 minutes trying to think of something to at least give it something... But I couldn't. The movie was terrible
The bad:
- No perky breasts
- The casting
- The classical Lara Craft look was missing
- Bad CG...
- NO TOMB RAIDING WHAT SO EVER??!
- The charming side kicks took a back seat and barely had any presence
- The plot... It was dogshit. So was the first one... But that one had some good things going for it at least
- No tight shirts... Cmon man...
- No sexy slomo scene :(
The good:
- The perky breasts
- The casting
- The look
- Surprisingly enough, the CG
- A good casual action flick
- The side kicks had charm
- The tight shirts showing off breasts
- The braless slomo scene of Jolie running
The bad:
- Travelling from and to locations was lack luster
- The villains didn't put up much of a fight
- The plot... It was dogshit. But it was an action game adaptation so your kinda at fault for expecting much
The way TMDB handles anime is abysmal...for correct watch order follow link below:

God I hate this episode...
Aside from the super weird soft porn scene at the end... It was awesome.
Not sure how nobody is happy though. Aragi has best of both worlds. He's immortal but immune to the sun.
A bit slow, but decent start.
This movie contained nothing of what S1 had. I can't tell if the story was this bland in the novel or if it's a bad adaptation.
It's a 6/10 with forced fan service. It's difficult to explain but the fan service in the anime blended better. Here it felt like they had a quota on showing breasts or ass per minute.
If this episode doesn't melt your heart and feel warm... Nothing will.
A perfect movie.
- Perfect casting
- Perfect musical score
- Perfect pacing
People who rate this higher then 6:
- people who seen5 movies a year

Just a very boring movie. Not aweful... But far from good.
Mediocre on all aspects. Doesn't land on effects, drama, story telling or acting.
Not aweful, but godamn... A moon distance away from good.
Leave to anime to see someone be punched through their abdomen only to be swung around like a toy with their intestines.
Half the supporting cast needs to be killed off. All plots outside the police stuff is dogshit.
At least Tim's character keeps it somewhat watchable.
It's a rather unique anime. There's not much to say. Try 2 or 3 episodes... If it doesn't connect drop it as it's just morz of the same over time.
Perfect intrudction for what it's trying to do.
I'd call this anime a perfect 7/10. You'll rarely be surprised but it delivers on everything you'd expect.
It's interesting that an anime with such a degenerate name manages to be one of the better fantasy anime.
The deaths are brutal. The tits are large, the fan service is plenty... But it never gets in the way of the story. The harem aspect never overlaps in serious moments, it's always more of a tension breaker before or after an adventure.
Finally an anime that doesn't shy from brutal deaths in a fantasy setting.
A very predictable ending. As another user said it could have been handled better.
Pretty bad, the practical effects of the first 2 installments just aren't there. Aside from the gun wounds in the boat it all looked garbage.
Feels a bit cheesy, instead of speeching for 10 minutes... Just say and do what you wanna do.
Seems to be common trope in later Danmachi... Talking for half the episode.
It's rare for the main cast to actually feel like they are in danger. I kinda hope they finish with at least 1 person dying... But it's unlikely.
Jezus christ this Cassandra is one annoying bitch. Hopefully she dies soon.
1-5 = pure fantasy, great
6-8 = predictable misleading story to lead to retarded predicable plottwist that surprised nobody
9-11 = more fantasy exploring love it
11-22 = Aside from Cassandra being a whiny c*nt, lovely season. It definitely captured the danger of a dungeon.
