A perfect movie.
- Perfect casting
- Perfect musical score
- Perfect pacing
Perfect intrudction for what it's trying to do.
As expected when looking it up. Mappa outsourced almost all the work in the 2 episodes that were visually stunning.
Willing to bet my life savings Mappa outsourced this episode. It actually looked like 2D animation for once.
If all killed characters remain dead. 10/10.
If even one comes back. 0/10
My rating will be changed depending on future episodes.
This episode is definitely in the top 10 of all episodes so far. The Gelgameks caught me off guard. Lol
The entire show isn't a 10...but the overall package deserves as much. It's great and sad to see more lore accuracy in a jap parody series than in the last 3 movies.
I can only imagine anime haters rating thos lower than 6. (which is fine)
This is probably the best sitcom episode ever written or made.
A beautiful anime... Just whatever you do...
DO NOT READ THE MANGA.
It will ruin the anime... Trust me.
A guilty pleasure... It's all so silly but every single damn joke lands with me. I even have to laugh out loud...
Funny enough this movie is has a better plot and pacing then most Fantasy Movies.
It's become my comfort movie... Mostly because the CG and effects are so bad it's hilarious.
A perfect ending for a near perfect show. 10/10.
I could write an entire blog... But if you made it here it means you already know what there needs to be know.
We'll all part of a group who can be thankful for this entire show regardless of age. :blue_heart:
A lovely slow burn movie... It's nostalgic to see a movie from the times around my birth.
I can't help but feel every healthy human with have taken the route of Dancing With Wolves under the same conditions. There's a certain peace to be observed in living in simpler ways.
I wonder if a newer generation has the patience to appreciate this type of movie.
One of my favorite episodes... It still hurts how they retconned this lore in Korra to a weaker version.
It's insane how all things serve another species in one shape or another.
10/10 footage and commentary.
Legit one of the best cinematic stories told in a filler episode of a tv show.
A very slow and somewhat boring start... But at the same time a very much needed one to set the world up.
10/10 all around.
It's a masterpiece on all aspects. Not much else needs to be said.
This movie is pretty much a hit or a miss depending expectations. If you don't like it in tje first 20 mins...you won't like the rest of it either. So in that regard let me possibly save some time.
I personally can't take anyone serious who rates this belos a 7. It's one of those movies that even if you don't like it... You should be able to see the artistic cinematography for what it is.
To clarify, I can perfectly see why somebody would not like it and even turn it off. It's not for everyone.
If this episode doesn't melt your heart and feel warm... Nothing will.
Finally an anime that doesn't shy from brutal deaths in a fantasy setting.
They not just exceeded expectations (I had none tbh) but they crushed it.
The vibe, the music, the visuals, the costume/set/weapon art is all exactly what you'd expect.
You don't need a full on review... Just watch it.
A great finale to an awesome trilogy. Loved everything except the dumbass bossgirl speech from Elizabeth to motivate an army of murderers and thiefs.
A really good way to Kickstart a show... Showed enough to peak interest but not enough to kill curiosity.
Solid start. :)
More of the same but higher budget. Not much to say... It's amazing.
Lovely movie... Driss is a very loveable character, there's a certain innocence and freedom in how he is himself amongst a group of people from another world.
A slow but very important episode. A first glimpse of why Zuko is who he is.
I remember watching it as a kid but couldn't remember a thing. This is one fucked up movie... Should be shown to everyone at the age of 16.
See you in another 15 years.
It's an interesting movie for sure, I can't credit it more than that. Not sure I have to say more either.
Wouldn't surprise me if this episode isn't included on live television anymore.
