As far as a pilot goes this was pretty good.
They were faithful to the games esthetic... The nuke scene was great. I'm glad they showed it full force.

The drama narration from Tom Waes kinda ruins it at times. It clearly doesn't reflect what is happening on screen.
Too little action, too much narrating.

6-8 = predictable misleading story to lead to retarded predicable plottwist that surprised nobody
9-11 = more fantasy exploring love it
11-22 = Aside from Cassandra being a whiny c*nt, lovely season. It definitely captured the danger of a dungeon.
Tldr: Skip this season... Nothing, and I mean this in a literal sense... Has contributed to the overal story.
This season was executed poorly and solely tried to drives it's plot on save the cute girl. This could easily be done be having her be a hidden monster first before discovering it so we'd actually grow to like someone without prejudice.

A slow start, with a few "childish" episodes but overall a great first season and foundation to build on for what overall will become 10/10.
A rare case of a show for all ages that resonates well with anyone who was born before 1995 I'd assume.
It's almost like watching your past self through the lens of this sitcom. Often find myself smiling... Not laughing, but just a genuine nostalgic smile.

County scale politics vs Valley problems
I fear they went large scale too fast with the airport... It's like the writers struggle to write relevant character progression when the issues are now so public and large scale.
A mediocre season and a trend with every season becoming worse. Not bad... Just worse.
Only at episode 12 but this season is a snooze fest so far...
I expect this to end at 4/10 at this pace.
