Seriously getting fed up of this stupid internet mogul now trying to run Highway 65, he is literally ripping the heart out of the label, Deacon needs to try and find a way to get him under control
Oh my goodness the feels for this episode, from the very outset the play over of all the voices of the original series quoting all those wonderful nostalgic moments was just wonderful then when the screen opened on Stars Hollow and Lorelai sitting on the bandstand with her coffee it was just so perfect, like coming home after a long time away, just how Rory must have felt.
I loved so many moments, I loved seeing Luke for the first time and his ongoing adoration for his two girls and how he is still caring for them. The first time we see Paul Anka, the scene with Lane and Rory in Doosey's. The moving moving scenes at Richard's funeral. OMG, the first time we saw Logan I danced for joy. Paris' voice coming through the door of that fertility clinic then her entrance it was just perfect.
I had a few tiny little niggles, firstly Lorelai annoyed me at her father's funeral. To have gotten that drunk seemed a tiny bit direspectful and she should have been trying to stay more focused in order to help Emily, I understand Emily's anger this time around and I was disappointed in Lorelai. The other one driving me nuts was Rory and her relationship with Logan, so she turned down his marriage proposal at the end of the original series but now they are still essentially seeing each other on the side. This seems wrong to Logan who still seems to absolutely adore her. I was a little annoyed about that I have to say.
All in all I loved it but wow I cannot wait for the next episode.
I know I still have the revival to watch but I still sobbed buckets watching this episode, it feels like the end of an era, the last episode Richard will be in, the emotion from all the actors. It was just wonderful. One of my favourite shows of all time
I love Rory and am so proud of her on this journey but I'm not sure she made the right decision here, Logan is absolutely amazing, I'm not sure she's going to meet anyone who will make her as happy
I know she is young but personally I love Logan, I think he does really care for Rory and would look after her. I worry about his family but if they were moving away and starting a new life together I am confident they would be happy together.
I have no words after this episode, just breathtaking and beautiful and intense and left me breathless.
It is well seeing what two men showed up to support our girls. They are the best. My heart was breaking for Emily though.
What a wonderful episode but such a worrying and sad ending
Thank God Luke has finally found the gumption to stand up to April's mom and say enough is enough.
Chris and Lorelai are growing on me as a couple, in some ways I think they have more in common than Lorelai and Luke, Luke always seemed out of his depth in Lorelai's world and family whereas she and Chris have so much shared history and they were brought up in the same world. I really love Luke but he lacks confidence in himself and as a result he allowed himself to feel intimidated by The Gilmores and this isn't fair on him
Logan is so romantic, he's my favourite of Rory's boyfriends hands down
Absolutely awe inspiring, it was so edge of your seat stuff just rooting for everyone but knowing that they were on opposing sides. Literally was shouting out loud with anticipation.
It just keeps getting better and better, the expanding characters of the First Daughter and Leo's daughter makes it so much more personal and it's drawing me back in like it did the first time I watched it.
This was my favourite episode so far, the characters are beginning to gel and the relationships touch us as viewers. I love when Martin Sheen holds us all rapt with one of his speeches. He is my very favourite thing about this show.
I watched the first season of this show a few years back now but when my tivo box got switched I lost the next episodes and never got back to it, so now I'm rewatching season 1 with a view to completing the whole set. I remember how much I fell in love with it during Season 1 and am just looking to recapture that joy.
So many dark creepy moments, the ending of that episode was intense
I haven't enjoyed an episode of this show so much for a little while now, so many amazing moments.
This was one of the hardest hitting episodes we've seen thus far....truly heartbreaking.
Really good pilot, engaging, glamorous and with lots of mystery to keep viewers coming back for more
I love Lorelai and am always her biggest supporter but in this storyline she is so in the wrong, she allowed herself to go beyond the point of no return and that is very sad for her and Luke
Okay so I've made it to the end of Season 1, think I'll take a break before season 2, not sure I could go straight in.
100% the best episode so far, it is the first time I've actually felt I can see the characters I love from the books coming alive on screen and an episode dedicated to Malec is just the best
Wow, what a great idea for a show to have Joe orchestrating all this from behind bars. It's brilliant just watching it all unfold.
this is one of the best pilots I have ever seen, the amount of content in that 40-minute episode and the tension and suspense was incredible. I can't believe I've waited this long to watch this.
I started watching this show when it started but didn't keep going, now revisiting it again and loving it. It is very much an over-glamorous version of events aimed at the teen audience but I like it.
I'm still really not loving this show at all. It is not really a good representation of the books at this stage
Sad ending to this series, so sad after the progress we were making at the start of the series.
What an amazingly wonderful gesture by Richard & Emily, they truly do care very much for Lorelai it's just they struggle to show it in a way that is more tactile
Okay I get it now, April is the most annoying thing to happen to Gilmore Girls ever, totally bumming out the vibe of this season. She needs to go!
I really loved this episode, great to see Lane so happy. Not so wonderful from a Lorelai and Luke perspective though
