Season was fucking terrible. I don't know what y'all on about. Had it been 8 episodes or so and focused on one villain, then it could have been better
No journalist would ever reveal his source. Plot device to create conflict.
I'm surprised by the lack of manbabies calling Ellie "mAry sUe" because she beat a bigger man.
So, was anyone else confused by it all?
I liked it. A bit bland but still entertaining. Had Netflix produced it with Millie Bobby Brown, it would be a bigger hit. Perfect movie for their audience.
My jaw literally dropped by the final scene.
Does anyone else dislike that they incorporated coronavirus into the show? It takes me out.
Movies today don't take their time anymore. Take for example the scene where Bowman leaves the ship to replace the "broken" antenna. It's like 10 minutes long for a simple task.
Add to that an ending that makes people look online for an explanation and I'm not surprised young people would think it's slow and boring.
I grew up watching the original but this felt a bit corny.
The animation looks worse than what it was 30 years ago. There's no fluidity in the movements.
And what's with the cinematic aspect ratio? So dumb...
The main performance alone is worth watching the movie. Lots of performances that get praised are so show-off-y but this one has such an effortless, naturalistic type.
Have people not realize yet that this is a low stakes, stand-alone kind of show?
"adds nothing to the MCU". No shit!
Does everything have to be fucking connected? Lighten up, DUDES.
This show is a mess that doesn't make any sense, so far. I don't see why it's getting praised.
The action scenes with the jackals remind me of Eternals. And that isn't praise, by the way.
Wow, that kiss came out of nowhere. Was it ever hinted Bradley swung that way? I don't remember.
I haven't read the book, so I have no idea what they are talking about most of the time. 3 episodes in and It's frustratingly too mysterious. I would dump it by now if I weren't a fan of the two leads.
Alicent's feminist moment does not track with the character from the previous episodes.
This is the kind of modern horror movie that dudes will hate because they can't stand the characters. I thought it was fun and well paced.
And the final reveal was hilarious. Definitely wasn't expecting it.
Good season finale but recycling villains doesn't leave me hyped up for the next season.
Am I the only one confused about what the f is going on? Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention.
"Spectacular" "Amazing" Really? It was alright. It felt like a webisode (remember those?) than a pilot.
I don't like that they are turning a mercenary villain into a good guy just to make the series more digestible.
I also don't see it as a positive when a series is like another series. Take Better Call Saul, for example. It's very much its own thing.
Y'all overhyping this. "It's alright" it's the best I could say about it. The podcaster character is the worse.
Is Sheldon incredibly annoying for anyone else too? His scenes are the least entertaining.
The Atom looks like a copy of Ant-man
So she told the only guy who was nice and helpful to her that she wasn't dating right now but she was on Tinder and ends up inviting some white dude to her employer's house? Yeah, fck this btch.
It's hard to be moved by the couple at the center of the story when you really don't care about them.
"I don't ever want to hear about Murder House"
Me neither, kid. I'm glad they burned it down. Time to move on.
Was this episode confusing as hell for anyone else? It was hard to follow.
Amazing season finale. Where could the show go from here? How do you top Glory, an actual god, as the Big Bad of the season? The show could have ended right here and it would have been a great series finale.
Man, these 1 hour long episodes drag, don't they?
There's product placement and then there's shameless, ridiculous straight up AD for Coke.
Makes me agree for a moment with the Russian on the evils of American capitalism.
White conservatives will hate it but this episode is true to the spirit of the original series. Tense with a message relevant to our times.
That sports analogy went right over my head. Explain it in soccer terms.
