I think it's safe to say most of us wouldn't trust a stranger into our homes. Unless it was Tom Hanks. I trust Tom Hanks with my life. I mean, it's obvious that man wouldn't hurt a fly. Anyways, I think we've obviously grown wary of each other as strangers. And a few months ago when we sat around trying to think about what the hardest thing to do in China with strangers would be, someone said it. Throwing a party at a Chinese stranger's house.
China has been full of surprises but we've mostly been staying in major cities so we thought why not venture out into the unknown Venture deep into the mainland where we'd have no real control over where we end up and hopefully in that process find people in places we would have never crossed path with in any other way and so welcome to our 24-hour hitchhike competition in China
