wow wow wow wow wow
Well acted, compelling premise, although the end was rather on the nose with it's message to say the least. Very reminiscent of Black Mirror.
Wow, easily the best episode of the season. Keeps you guessing throughout with a satisfying ending.
So predictable as to be laughable. The dream/vacation/VR aspects make no sense. Why does time pass in both worlds without continuity? In a dream, continuity may be broken, but it doesn't matter. You still know what you need to know and can do the things you need to do, even if you don't really know. In a VR simulation, you would just pick up from when you logged out. Who wants a VR simulation where every time you start it you have no clue what has transpired? And in either case, who would require a device to exit back to the real world? That is just stupid. If you need to exit for any reason, you should be able to do it at any time. Also, someone should be able to pull you out by just turning the device off. There would be no sudden death by just unhooking the device. Confusion, sure. But that would be it. We don't die when our brain switches gears when were are awaken from a dream. The real world would just be able to wake you up by turning the device off.
Definitely more sci-fi than actual s.f. as all of Dick's stories were. This story is really a disgrace to his name.
The writers were trying really hard to make that square peg fit the round hole... this is just not a good episode. Too bad too since I love the actors.
By far the best episode in the series, which is a pity that it's actually the first one (not the 5th like it's listed here) that you watch because it gets you excited for the rest of the show, and ultimately let down. This one actually makes you think and the whole time you're wondering which reality is real and which one is the dream, very well done.
Like others have previously said, this is the first episode I truly enjoyed and the only one which has been similar to "Black Mirror." The previous episodes all seemed a bit "half baked."
“You're not a lesbian cop from the future in a flying car”
Another bad placed thumbnail. The thumbnail is about the first chapter "Real Life".
About "The hood maker" I didn't find it really attractive.
Why are you crying Black Mirror?
One of the oldest stories in the genre and one writer Philip K. Dick revisted numerous times. It is no wonder some users have compared it to his other «adaptation» Total Recall as this story is also about a dream journey and the question of identity. A lesbian Anna Paquin add to the fun but it is not much surprises here besides that one hot idea.

First one of the series I've actually enjoyed & the most Black-Mirror-like so far. What it was nothing like was the original short story Exhibit Piece by PKD, except in the name of the main character. I honestly don't know why they used PKD's name, if they were just going to make up their own stories in the vein of Black Mirror. Unless they just wanted to piss off PKD fans, of course.
