Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a dark lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise, he could use the force to influence the midichlorians to create... life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side, that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.
Best Star Wars movie, don't fight me on it.
I have tried several times to complete it, but it's impossible. It's simply ridiculous.
What about the Droid attack on the Wookies?
After the disaster that Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones was, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was way better!
The dark tone is back on the saga, the tension is built little by little until the devastating climax. The story was perfectly delivered and it's very entertaining from the beginning until the end showing us great action sequences and good special effects.
I have to say that I enjoyed watching Hayden Christensen on this one, he looks more into the character than he was on Episode II.
For sure the best of the prequels and a great ending to a fantastic saga.
I'm glad that I finally watched all of them. I was for doing this for such a long time! Now let's wait for 2015 to see Star Wars Episode VII.
The ONLY redeemable thing about this movie is the fighting that starts with the Wookies. I give a hat tip to Samuel Jackson who just barely beats Hayden Christensen(?) for worst acting in the film. I can see the pain in both Samuel Jackson and Natalie Portman's eyes as they try to deliver the horrible dialog they were given. The transitions between scenes was laughable as well. I get it that they were supposed to be a nod to the later movies, but those movies were made 20+years ago and those transitions are just gimmicky now. I don't understand why I felt the need to finish this movie. 2+ hours? That is just arrogance.
wow, 80%? really? it's slightly better than I and II, but still nowhere close to being good

Worth it just to see Halfa Christenson
A fast pacing action flick with tons of SFX but unfortunately nothing more. Even after watching it several times I stand by my verdict: for me, this is the weakest of all (new) Star Wars movies! Especially the first half is not very well done and the last few chapters of the DVD / BluRay are just a (not very inspired) transmission to Episode IV - VI.
And not a single clever dialog was given.
That was some waste of lifetime...
Is the best of the 3 and the saber duels are great but everything else just stinks I'm afraid(the music is always top notch)
The sad, pathetic Star Wars prequel series finally concludes with Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. It's what we've all been waiting for; Anakin Skywalker turns to the Dark Side, becoming Dark Vader, and proceeds to lead an attack against the Jedi. The acting is still awful, as are the script and the special effects. George Lucas once again shows his complete ignorance of the original Star Wars films, and commits some major continuity errors. That said, this is the most action-pack film of the series and delivers some spectacular lightsaber battles. While Episode III – Revenge of the Sith has its moments and is fairly entertaining, it's another disappointing chapter in a supposedly epic sage.
Let Her Go Anakin
Master Yoda You Survived
The best of the prequels. It has the best story and best action. The lightsaber fights are a lot of fun. The scenes between Obi-Wan and Anakin are the best. The opening space fight and rescue are cool. McDiarmid and McGregor steal the show.
Both ep. 1 and 2 where pretty sucky but this one is pretty great! Hope the upcoming movie will be as good or better!!
Anakin goes further towards the dark side by becoming more of a whiny, jealous, paranoid mess. He has dreams of Padme dying and thinks only the Chancellor who he suspects is a powerful Sith, can help her.
While the screenplay is so weak that it forgets that Yoda and Obi-Wan shouldn't be so clueless about Anakin and Padme. Especially since Padme did kiss Anakin during the arena fight in Episode 2 in front of every Jedi.
What makes Episode 3 work is all the great light saber duels. As well as the evil performance by Ian McDiarmid. Although I would have to say that Anakin vs Obi-Wan is a bit of let down in the end. The fight is a bit overdone and not as good or fun as Yoda vs the Emperor.
Episode III still has some flaws but this one is the best of the prequel series. Almost up to par with the original trilogy.
Watching Episode 3 - Dawn of the Empire L8wrtr Fanedit...
Truly a tragic tale, still the best of the prequels.
After two rather poor films, “Revenge of the Sith” is easily the best part of the Star Wars prequel trilogy for me. It finally tells the story you want to see: how Anakin becomes Darth Vader. And even if the weaknesses of the predecessors are still there, in particular the questionable dialog and the sometimes wooden acting, the pacing works pretty well overall. The action is strong, with the whole opening sequence and the fight between Anakin and Obi Wan standing out. As far as I'm concerned, George Lucas could have left out some of the references to the original trilogy. These often make the universe seem unnecessarily small. But overall, “Revenge of the Sith” is still a conciliatory conclusion to the trilogy.
watching The Clone Wars tv series makes this movie hit so much harder.
Star Wars is back to being great! This movie really improves upon everything the Prequels were. Nostalgia helps, but I truly think this one is great! 9.5/10 :star:
noooo anakin don’t turn to the dark side you’re so sexy aha
9/10
Superb
Although I really ejoy
episode 2 as my favourite
this concluding episode
is the best of the first
Trilogy, being dark and bumping younglings
off plus heads and legs
coming off and of course
engulfed in flames.
Shorta movie and less
soppy lovey-dovey BS
helps. This movie has a nice
pace to it also, actually the best of the Trilogy,
And the way They tie it all
in to 4,5,6 is rather satisfying
and thought out.
and as soon as
Baby Hitler cones of age
thing escalate quickly and
from then on things go
Batshit crazy and I love it.
Side note:
I would have thought
Grandad would have
turned his lightning off
before fcuking himself up
to the point of disfigurement,
Well at least I get to see
my favourite
Purple Lightsaber
can never have enough
Screen time with that
Beast.
Still the best Star Wars movie for me by far.
Revenge of the Sith is a standout installment in the Star Wars franchise, bringing the prequel trilogy to a satisfying conclusion. The movie features some of the most iconic moments in the entire saga and also explores the darker side of the Star Wars universe, with Anakin's descent into the dark side of the Force and the rise of the Galactic Empire. Overall, Revenge of the Sith is a fantastic movie that delivers on all fronts, offering a thrilling conclusion to the prequel trilogy and a satisfying bridge to the original trilogy.
"Remember back to your early teachings. "All who gain power are afraid to lose it." Even the Jedi."
Always try to have the high ground Anakin!!
Revenge of the Sith is my favorite movie of the prequel trilogy. I like the Dark Side of Revenge of the Sith. Anakin finally embracing the Sith moniker Darth Vader. The lighting powers. Yoda is always a treat to see no matter what. Still freaking love Samuel's purple Light Saber and I love how quickly Darth Sidious turns ugly and old after using the Dark side powers and especially how he explains it to everyone. Lovely stuff. I also totally forgot how dark the Jedi temple scene is with Anakin slaughtering the Younglings. Totally forgot about that!
Rewatching the prequel trilogy wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be but damn I'm happy that in the coming weeks I'm finally going to rewatch the original trilogy.
So love has blinded you?
It must have because Natalie Portman is not an attractive woman.
While this movie took a while before people appreciated it, the movie now holds so much weight given how much Star Wars has grown. Anakin's entire story throughout the six movies has led to this single moment, even though three of those movies happen after this one takes place.
The better of the first 3 episodes, still some bad acting but overall better than the first 2 episodes
the best of the prequels, albeit with several deus ex machina. Between the one who is good at deceiving and those who allow themselves to be deceived, makes the change to the dark side
Basically shite like all star wars movies released after the three original movies
Wow! The best one of the trilogy.
Much better than episode one and episode two combined. This is the pinnacle of the final trilogy by George Lucas, the mastermind and creator of the Star Wars universe.

In a chronological perspective, Anakin was right: This is where the fun begins. In a "release dates" perspective, it's where it ended.
It is the best star wars so far (ie it is better than 1 and 2) the visual effects were super good, the laser sword fights were also super.
The action was in every minute of the film.
The final fight with Obi Wan and Anakin very well done. Only again characters appeared, who are normally the main characters for the series, but without an explanation of where is coming.
Worth 9 stars.
I think this film is a great ending for the first trilogy and sets everything for the new one. The music is great and the battles too, but I just can't stand Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid acting so poorly as the bad guys. And the ending lasts ages, it has like three epilogues. I think this could've been the best film of the first trilogy but with these aspects it ended up being just as good as Episode II.
Wow, this is the best of the prequels by for and I seriously underestimated how amazing this film is. From the first few minutes, I could tell that the energy of this film was so different compared to both Episode 1 and 2 as the film throws you into the action immediately and keeps you engaged the entire time. Also, the acting in this film is miles better with every single actor (yes including Hayden) giving their all in the different roles and even the emotional moments in this movie hit you hard as you know where everything is leading to but you don't know exactly how.
This movie is very exciting and I love it, if you love Star Wars then this film is probably on your list as one of the best Star Wars films with some of the best moments.
3 Thoughts After Watching ‘Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith’:
The best out of the prequels by far.
Great movie and dramatic conclusion to the prequel trilogy. The climactic light-saber duells are so well made.
Widely considered to be the best of the prequels--though, according to popular opinion, that's not saying much--Revenge of the Sith brings the action and drama as we see how one-time amazingly powerful Jedi Anakin Skywalker becomes the evil cyborg Darth Vader. A commanding story, insane lightsaber duels, appropriately heartbreaking scenes, a forbidden romance...this one has it all.
As good as it was, I did have one complaint: After the final lightsaber duel, the movie really drags. It spent too much time alternating between stories, and felt like it was just added for the sake of length. If they ever remake this saga, I hope they'll give us a more summed-up epilogue next time around.
The best of the prequels, the story is interesting, dark and sad. Ian McDiarmid does a wonderful job as the manipulative Palpatine and the acting in general is much better. The creation of Darth Vader at the end is really well done, it is a moment of pain and death for him and for his wife but it is also a moment of birth that gives hope for the future.
This is one of the best movies of the whole saga. I liked a lot.
This is gotta be a win out of the prequels bar far, It's got the high ground like Obi did with anakin.
The climax from Star Wars Saga
Pretty damn good installment. Contains a lot of the fun of the originals, but concludes with a dark and serious tone, that it doesn't hold the punches on. Some really great action sequences too. I really liked this one. My favorite of the prequels.
It's way better than the horrible I and II I feel bad for natalie portman, Padme did nothing in this movie. The fight scenes with lightsabers are the best and all the political conflict is handled well too. I point out the work of Ewan as Obi wan and Hayden a little bit less cringy that in episode II but still not my favourite at all.
Here's to Mr. Lucas for giving us all something spectacular to remember for our entire lives that embodies the whole point of going to the movies in the first place, to escape and lose ourselves in another world.
Best of the prequel trilogy, that doesn't make it good. It actually almost felt like a Star Wars movie. Unfortunately the movie turned to ass about the same time as the emperor's face.
Can be something better than story of rise of Darth Vader? No!
buy it: another great addition to the star wars saga

It's the best of any of the Star Wars movies for me. Hayden Christiansen may not be a great actor but literally every other actor involved is great, and Ewan MacGregor is amazing (It's also worth noting that Harrison Ford is literally the only good actor in the originals but I won't get into that now). The story for this one makes more sense than any of the originals and adds a level of politics and historical/mythological background that is completely absent from the originals. The action and effects have obviously gotten better with time and because the people involved with Star Wars have so much experience. This movie is exactly what it was meant to be the Fall of Troy combined with Julius Caesar and a little bit of Oedipus thrown in there just for fun.
