I can't believe we finally get to have a lesbian Christmas rom-com with all the fucking tropes with hate to love.
And it's actually so good and fun? Is this like cosmic balance for how fucked up 2020 has been?
Also, don't hate on me but Aubrey Plaza as the stunning lesbian doctor kinda stole the show for me!
Whiterose losing her shit has got to be one of the highlights of this series!
If not, I'm pretty sure it was at least for Phillip Price.
the ending of this episode is so heartwarming!
I think this is probably the first time I honestly appreciated Glenn both as a person and a manager
#Christmasspirit ♡
Nothing less than a decade-defining show! There's no doubt this is the absolute best crime drama ever made considering it's the one that started it all, setting the standard for everything that came after. I loved CSI for so many reasons but mainly because of how intense the cases always got, how gripping every episode was, and most of all how much the city itself made a huge impact on the different stories as if Las Vegas were part of the cast ... that's something amazing I haven't yet managed to find anywhere else in the genre. Needless to say, I binged my way through the seasons! I have to say I hated them for killing off Warrick, him being my favourite and all, but at least we got to see Greg up till the end #hilarious
I wasn't even halfway through Aliens when I knew it was going to be one of my favorite movies ever... and Ripley is such a badass #girlspower
I have to admit although I've loved this show since episode one I sort of feel they've lost the spark along the way ... I guess they made the right choice when they decided to end it with season 12, it might be time! Anyway I'm gonna miss my weekly dose of Booth and Brennan and the rest of the squints :)
Harris going up in flames is probably the most satisfying scene in the whole season!
Despite its evident flaws, I'll always have a soft spot for The Vampire Diaries: it was the first Tv series I started following, the first I fell in love with which also led to my first binge and of course my initiation to "shipping my OTPs" ... it's a lot to live up to I guess!! So I don't really care about the inconsistencies, the obvious hypocrisy, or how annoying some characters were, taking turns throughout the seasons. That's all true but I decided I want to remember how much I got swept up by the various storylines they told in eight years, how much I cried during emotional episodes ( guys when Liz Forbes died I thought I'd never stop, I can't listen to that song without weeping ), how insanely hot and definitely talented the cast was and how taken I've been from the beginning to the end no matter what ... this show deserves all my praise!!
Scully being a mood in every single scene she's in is the reason this episode works so well, she is hilarious. And awesome. And so done with everybody! The part in the morgue could be one of my favourites in the whole series.
so, can we talk about how hot September is, you know ... with hair?
The first hour is the most boring thing ever but then Edward Norton happens and it's just awesome.
Believe me, I love the enemies-to-lovers trope.
Ergo, I would have been totally on board with this movie if they had found out about each other more or less at the same time so that BOTH could process their feelings about the whole "sworn enemies in real life but pen-pals on AOL" relationship. Why do you have to turn one of them into a manipulating creep and the woman into a fool? There are at least half a dozen better plots based on the same premise!
Give. Me. More. Dom.
Not to downplay all the emotional stuff we had to deal with after the previous episode but like, that few minutes of Dom slaying the dark army guys and Janice while being within an inch from death was impressive. Maybe not 100% realistic yet totally satisfying.
I honestly don't know how to explain how incredible this episode was.
Let's just say that I was so overwhelmed I had to pause twice to pull myself together during the last twenty minutes; it was so raw and powerfully executed I felt like I was intruding into someone else's painful memories for real. Nothing even remotely compares to this show!
I can't believe we have to waste our time following a whining psychotic bitch with daddy issues, like really?
Same goes with the martians, you're thinking about arresting/killing a random dude while inside an alien energy-tunnel nobody knows anything about?! They look so foolish and dumb. You'd think something this huge would make them look at each other as fellow human beings.
As far as romance is concerned Beauty and the Beast is kinda the best one around, Vincat has great chemistry and, to be honest, it's sappy but not too sappy! Anyway, the first two seasons are really good because the love story is backed up by some pretty solid and interesting plot ... after that it went a bit downhill in my opinion. I'm definitely gonna miss JT's humor/sarcasm though
I cried my eyes out at the end of this episode! That scene with Caroline sharing one last moment with her mom was so intense I just couldn't handle it without shedding a tear ... and what about the soundtrack?! I mean, I can't listen to the song they put there without feeling a knot in my stomach. Anyway, farewell Liz Forbes!!!
FYI I'm Italian and my language sounds nothing like Portuguese, even more so at that speed ... you wouldn't understand shit!
If that was Spanish then yeah, you could totally grasp the gist of a conversation but in Portuguese it's unlikely.
Anyway, very tough episode!
IU in this drama is the definition of Big-Dick-Energy!
This is probably the first time I decide to watch a k-drama because of the female lead instead of the guy ... IU is the girl crush you just can't avoid. And visually speaking every single second of this drama is magnificent!
this is definitely one of the best episodes of Fringe so far!
and that ending left me an emotional mess ...
I'm racking my brains about the ending because I refuse to accept it despite the fact that it (sorta?) makes sense.
I hate it, I honestly despise the idea of these two poor souls dying the moment they decided to fight through the pain for their happiness besides, what about Jin Gook? How the hell is he gonna cope with their death? On the other hand I do think the ending fits this story though. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I feel like the whole drama proves over and over again that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and sooner or later you're gonna have to face the consequences ... hence the final tragedy.
You'd think it comes out of the blue when as a matter of fact it's the direct result of many people's choices and mistakes interconnected with each other.
Three words: my guilty pleasure.
This movie is deeply flawed, still I can' help but love it.
It's not that I hated this movie, it's just that I think you can only enjoy it if you haven't read Oscar Wild's masterpiece.
In my opinion even without knowing about the book it couldn't aspire to be anything more than an average production but, for someone who loves the original as much as I do, the movie falls short of expectations changing both important plot points and little details with no apparent reason and with no real consequence ... generally speaking it lacks the intense and frantic vibe you get from the book.
Just awesome! I loved everything about this movie starting with Tom Hardy's exceptional performance, which is something you can always count on, down to the perfect soundtrack I immediately downloaded.
These gangsters are so extra?! Like, what kind of thug prepares "finish the race, repay your debt!" banners to intimidate?
Basically this lawyer is trashing everyone to free a child molester who killed an 11 years old boy, and she's fucking enjoying it!
am I the only one who thinks Aria has way better chemistry with the little brother rather than with Ezra?
I can't believe TC stayed back for her ♡
I mean sure, the new job is exactly what he needs ( and by the way Jordan is the one who made it possible! ) but no one is gonna convince me that TC didn't stay in San Antonio because she's the love of his life and they're made for each other and he realized all of that during this episode, you can see it in his eyes. Too bad this show got canceled!
Remember when Harris died a painful and horrible death back in season one (1x19) and it was gratifying as hell?
Well, it doesn't even compare to the scene here in the finale where Olivia smashes Captain Baldie between two cars using her Cortexiphan abilities! Did you all see the look on his face?! So freaking amusing
can anyone change the number of episodes in this drama? It's actually 32 and not 40. Thanks!
