One of the best solo MCU movies in a while. I went into this not knowing the story at all. I was highly entertained and not lost at all. Definitely worth the $12 at the theater!
Absolutely love this show. Oliver does a great job at really making you think at the very important issues that just constantly get swept under the rug. Highly recommend this show.
First of all, its a pretty cool feeling knowing that you helped produce this film on indiegogo (or kickstarter, whichever one it was). I was impressed by how well made it was. It felt like a big budget movie.
Second, the story was great. A few things happened that I didn't expect to.
The only thing that I didn't like was the ending... It needed 5 more minutes to explain what the hell just happened. Connor said he's going to make things right. But nothing happened. He visits his mom's grave. Then what? He's back where he started, minus having a mom?
Did Garrett essentially replace Marcus with that deal?
Did Park not end up having powers? I definitely thought he was going to have powers.
So Nia got to visit her dad in prison. That's not really a happy ending for her, is it?
Maybe I missed something while I was watching...
This movie is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine..
I don’t understand all the hate. This was a very entertaining movie with some awesome action scenes. Turn your brain off and enjoy the ride.
We officially hit the point in the show where the titular character doesn't even fight a bad guy in an entire episode. We have also reached the point where bad make up and worse wigs distracted me from any of the dialogue happening. Quickly losing interest in this show..
This show is cute and entertaining. Does a great job of showing that no matter how much of a celebrity someone is, they are still human. But... for the love of all things holy... someone teach Selena some basic knife skills before she loses a finger. I get anxiety every time the camera shows her cutting food.
Agh, dammit Wayne! You're better than that!
So satisfying to watch the hard right squad get their ass kicked.
Barbados to outer banks… in a boat that cruises like 20 knots? Yeahhhhh that is like months.
This show lol
Out side of the twist at the end, and some incredible intense/uncomfortable scenes, it was a very bloated movie, and I couldn't get over the accents. Why do we have an Australian playing an American, and an American, an Irish, and an Brit playing Russians?
Very impressed with this show. Wasn't expecting quality like this from YouTube. The actress that plays Henry does a fantastic job. A solid 8 from me for this show!
Jian Yang is due for a solid punch in the face. And can Richard please do something awesome without screwing it up?!
Highly enjoyed this chapter! Always been a big fan of the series and this one didn't disappoint. Donnie Yen was such a great addition; his character was so fun.
My only gripe is [spoiler] the whole "everyone is bulletproof" thing that was started in chapter 3. They took that to the extreme in this one.
This show truly has no idea how heavy gold is.
Ok, I’m not done with this show by any means. But why is literally everyone a complete idiot?
“He kept the gun so he could blackmail us for more money”
“Why would he do that?”
For more money you, you troglodyte!
Why the hell did Kiara think it was a good idea to scream at Ward while filming?
Why didn’t they ask the cop to find Gavin, prove he’s alive…
Why do they think they can’t recover the footage because the tape pulled out a bit?
Why is John B making literally the worst decision every chance he can get?
Ughhhh
Such a dumb movie, but so entertaining. This is my go-to movie to watch, and I watch it multiple times per year.
Trying to imagine what it would be like to say the phrase 'hold on a sec, I need to call my friend' and that friend is Taylor Swift...
This was a good episode. Those tacos look bomb!
Ok so I watch the finale and almost tear up. I thought they did a great job ending the show. But then, as I'm sitting at my office, I think about something.. ok so Colt sells his cattle to Lisa for the cost of Iron River Ranch. In other words, Colt no longer has cattle but Beau has his ranch back. That's all well and good, except Beau has no cattle either, and he & Joann gave their nest egg to Joann's kid for that Yogurt business. So neither ranch has any cattle, and neither ranch owner has any money. Colt was already talking about how broke and Abbie are, and he just sold his only tangible asset besides his ranch (or a kidney). What happens now?
A fantastic movie to watch after a long day at the office and you just want to zone out and switch off your brain (or at least the critical thinking side of it). As one commenter stated, the plot is ridiculous, the continuity is broken, and the acting is relatively subpar with a few exceptions. But there is explosions, decent jokes, an asshole blowing his own head off on accident, and Olivia Munn. Worth the watch, but don't expect an Oscar-winning movie...
This show is amazing.. One problem, though. How on earth can I watch it?? I don't have cable, and if I did, I wouldn't have CraveTV. I live in the US. I can't even buy it on iTunes for $3 per episode. I REALLY don't want to get this show through cough other means cough.
Man, this was a good show. Lots of “edge of your seat” moments, a few twists, and over all a great watch.
Tom Cruise makes a damn good movie. Start to finish, we were on the edge of our seats and found ourselves holding our breathe at least a dozen times. Casting was superb. The story and flow was fantastic. I’m a big fan of Rebecca Ferguson, and I was bummed how they did her. That’s my only reason for dropping a star.
I can’t wait for part 2 and for this to be downloadable so we can watch it again in the comfort of our home!
My wife while watching this… “this movie is pure chaos.”
I think that’s the most perfect description of this flick.
I absolutely loved the way the handled Chadwick's passing. The first few minutes of the movie were very emotional, especially for someone like me that has an immense love for the MCU as a whole. Angela Bassett killed her role, especially in the beginning at the UN. Such an awesome scene! The amount of times I wanted her to say 'fuck around and find out'....man. M'Baku's role in this movie compared to the last was great; like a big brother figure. He's such a perfect actor for the role too.
To be clear, I thoroughly loved this movie. It's in the top 8-10 MCU movies for me.
What didn't work for me:
-Namor's little ankle wings. Giving a character the ability to fly with no real explanation (i.e. Superman, Ebony Maw, Dr Strange) I can deal with. But, Namor's little tiny wings just can't produce the lift needed, especially when you see him moving super fast and with a lot of agility. I don't know why this one bothered me so much.. but it did.
-Riri's suit for the final fight. It just looked too cheesy.. like DC tv show suit. It was like a Great Value miniature Gundam Wing.
It's not as if these ruined the movie for me or anything of the sort. Just a slight suspension of my immersion during a few scenes.
I was just underwhelmed or sad the whole time..
Whelp, Randall makes me sick to my stomach.
For fucks sake Claire... just do what you’re asked ONE TIME! Outlander needs to be renamed “damsel in distress”
Unbelievably boring. Definitely wished I passed on this one.
As someone who knows literally nothing about Watchmen (minus seeing the movie all those years ago), I found my self saying "Uh wtf just happened?" about 20 times. I really hope this show explains all the randomness soon. ...Why was it raining squid?
Overall, it was very entertaining, though.
