Recommend it, awesome
Don't understand the hate
Seems like all the other commenters haven't actually seen this movie and are just upset that it's a remake. Yes, it's a remake, but it's its own movie, too.
I thought it stood on its own, differentiated itself nicely from the original while also updating the story in a way that feels timely and fresh. I also found it surprisingly funny, sweet, heartfelt, and utterly enjoyable. A great change of pace from all the cynical, mean-spirited comedies these days and endless parade of Marvel movies.
Eugenio Derbez is a successful Mexican Comedian and Anna Farris is as cute as funny as she has always been, and the 2 of them give balance and heart to this movie. It is fun to watch and lighthearted. Not an Oscar-winning movie, but truly a fun movie to spend 90 minutes laughing.
WARNING: The jokes have a mixture of US and Mexican humor. You may not get all of them, but you will still have fun with the actors' performances.
My Score is 7/10.
Give Meryl Streep an Oscar for the love of god..
Felicity is a girl after my own heart. Probably my favorite show of all time.
Explores beautiful psyche of old age human.
Robert Redford and Jane Fonda are perfect for their lonely and flawed characters. What a sweet unfolding of two complex lives that crave connection and love. It begins simply with wanting to simply sleep through the night and then we get to know all the good and the hard parts of their lives and in the end it is about talking to each other.
There is a bit of all of us in these characters. Film is adapted from the novel of same name by Kent Haruf, who died just few weeks after publishing his last novel.
LOVE this show.. has to be one of my all-time favourite shows. The writing is insane and the acting matches it perfectly. 11/10
*Must, Must See*
This was a wonderful written final. As the song from the Lion King Goes, Its the Circle of Life. That is the only hint I will give. Again, a beautiful written show, one of the best of the series, and one of the best written series finals I have seen. Just be sure to grab a Kleenex, you will need it.
*Wow! Just wow!*
It was a beautiful end of the season (wiping tears) very genius of the cast. This episode belonged to Mayim Balik. Excellent acting.
Enjoyable and sweet!!
Let me start off saying that I know next to nothing about the US military so Im purely looking at this from an enjoyment factor. i started this show having no idea really what it was about (or even that it was a comedy) but I found it really fun. it feels like it could verge on being stupid but I haven't found that yet. I love the relationship between the brothers, it's both sweet and cheeky and there's a lot of love there. I also like how they do cover real issues such as how soldiers can feel returning from a war zone. This issue was treated with respect which I approved of. Overall I love it and will definitely keep watching.
they're making a season 2!!!
*Sorry, but...*
I'm so sorry this show only ran for one season then was not renewed. It's interesting that the "Chicago" series was created and intertwines and it gets canceled in 2017.
I like the actors, the procedural component, the direction, and the courtroom scenes. It makes perfect sense to tie this show together with Chicago P.D. I suppose it was canceled due to low viewership.
There are two things that could be changed to make this show better...
1) There is no character development beyond the job. My wife and I always look for the romance behind the scenes. We don't want it to be overwhelming or even more than perhaps 5-10% of the content, but we don't want it to be zero.
2) The storylines are good but they fall apart, almost always. The cases are won in court with inadequate evidence and incomplete development. This, of course, is the crux of the show but it fails.
My score 6/10.

*Panda, Snow Leopard and Snow Monkey - oh my!*
A great documentary about 3 species of animals found China. The cinematography is just out of this world! Don't expect to learn a whole lot of new information about the Panda, Snow Leopard and the Snow Monkey. Just enjoy the opportunity to watch these animals in their natural habitat doing what they do best - live.
It's narrated in its USA release by John Krasinski ("The Office") and in its China release, actress Zhou Xun ("Suzhou River"). The entirety was filmed in unpopulated areas of China. Various Chinese wildlife were followed for a year; their misadventures and struggles culminating in this film. It was released in China August 12, 2016, and in the US April 21, 2017. To date (April 29, 2017) the film has raised approximately $15.2 million worldwide. It runs for 1 hour, 16 minutes (76 minutes) and is rated G.
My Score 8/10.
Detective series starring a man with an extraordinary sense of smell who can "sniff" out criminals. It is an interesting premise. Extraordinary cerebral detective show combines the wit, style and humor of Dr. House and Sherlock Holmes. This is not your bloody, car chasing, shoot 'em up sexcapade. It's a high quality production in HD.
Very good acting. Easy to follow. Really liked this show. Looking forward to the next season.
*Update 01/July/2019*
Finishing watching the third season… I can say that is a very uniquely, creatively written series. Having taught forensic science for a number of years, I find the premise of this series fascinating, if a bit unbelievable. Nevertheless, it is totally enjoyable, never predictable. The characters are interesting to say the least and certainly contribute to the fact that this is not your usual whodunit. The actors are extremely talented, especially the lead and his ex-wife. She puts the "b" in that unladylike word. The story lines are terrific.
This show never gets gory or violent and still stays entertaining. Hoping for a Season 4 as it's clearly been an international success.
My Score: 8/10.
Like it!!! Really like watching American Crime. Like how cast has different role & look in each season.
i still don't get the rating, it is one of the best series running. no cheap tricks, no "unexpected but seen a million times" turns and twists. each episode is just another brick in the wall for all the characters. and they are not black or white, they are grey. like everyone in real life. when they move to a darker or lighter shade of grey it is just life as it is. highly recommendable!!!
My score: 7/10.
INTENSE!!! That's how this episode was.
Man Alex... That was such a stupid thing you did.
Poor DeLuca, he was just trying to help.
Meredith did the right thing.
They need to stop running a face the mess they did.
Jo can't go away now...
There's to much to tell.
Baby Harriet KEPNER.. Avary... oh boy... This is gonna be fun to watch her grow with that crazy family.
Next week the court... AGAIN...
This season is gonna be heavy.
#Lucky13 Here we go.
A good solid start to the 25th season where Homer is suspected by Lisa to be a terrorist. Good paddy of Homeland, really enjoyed it
*Didn't expect this show to be so life changing!!*
I just finished watching the entire series and have to say I was pulled in from the start and found the show to be incredibly delightful in so many different ways. One minute you're laughing your ass off and the next moment you're fighting back the tears. The character development is phenomenal and the show is so well written as it portrays all sides of life: funny, sad, messy, awkward, raunchy and heart wrenching. Laura Linney's character and her brother were the anchors of the show, they both brilliantly acted their parts and had a strong unbreakable bond you don't fully recognize until the end of the series. It melts your heart. I loved the mix of characters over the course of the series, every character had relevance and depth. I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about the show. Brilliant and this is an underlooked gem.
I highly recommend this show!:heart::heart:
My Score 9/10.
