Like a dildo low on batteries, In the Fade is frustrating and dissatisfying in the end, despite Diane Kruger's skill and persistence.

@saint-pauly How so? Love the analogy BTW, made me chuckle something chronic. What about it did you find dissatisfying? (I ask as it's been generally acclaimed) .. I've not watched it yet, but intend to soon.
Really great show. All the actors have a great acting, and I'm most excited about Ghost and Tommy. Tommy plays PERFECTLY the "white boy from the hood", while trying to keep a Russian accent. Ghost on the other hand is always on point with his acting, talking like a businessman and someone to be reckoned with, all while letting subtle street talk chime in when it's needed. The premise is interesting as is, but the people of the show make it really great. I love how it progresses and changes, the twists, the crossroads that each character has to face. Just an FYI, has lot's of sex in it, I personally didn't mind.

@manos-t Clearly an NYC accent! Nothing Russian about it! LOL

@saint-pauly Thanks for that, was wondering what was disappointing. Diane always performs excellently, I've not seen a bad film/show with her starring, so far - usually elevated by her captivating performances. Will watch this soon, bearing in mind your criticism. You've seen some great shows/movies, some more to add to my queue. Thanks for your feedback.
How is it? Let's hear some reviews!

@drumnugget - It's fantastic! Acting is spot on. Lots of twist and turns, scheming and power-plays. Great character-driven drama, we're definitely in a golden age of TV. Watch it, you'll not regret it!
