great movie for the family. I loved it when I was a kid.
Look no further, the cure for insomnia is here.....:sleeping:
i think i prefer more fast pace movies, but loved the under the bed scene! definitely a really uniquely designed film
VHS coverage of walls and ceilings
I was skeptical since the beginning, I’m happy to say I was wrong. Was it a masterpiece ? No. But it was a good movies. I think it was a smart choice to address the voice elephant in the room pretty directly, pretty early so you can put it out of your head and focus on the movie. I’m sure I’ll watch it again at some point and I am open to seeing a sequel should they make one.
Perfect from the beginning till the end.
In the movie you'll find any character and music of the games.
This show is far from over, but it is already the best Digimon since the original series. Turning Digimon into a mystery thriller probably saved the franchise. It's enough of an original story that you don't have to be fans of the original to enjoy it. You may need to avert your child's eyes from time to time as it can get surprisingly graphic for a show meant for older kids.
EDIT: Unfortunately, while still technically being better than most previous Digimon entries, it got stuck in it's own gimmick and couldn't figure out how to be anything more than a Scooby Doo monster-of-the-week kiddie show... with a lot of material that is not appropriate for kids. The finale throwing a curve ball and saying that it was aliens without any setup what-so-ever ended this experiment on a whimper and tremendous disappointment because of what this show could have been for the franchise.
Standalone, it's a "meh" movie, really awkward and artificial.
Compared to the 1971, version it's just awful.
Too much drama not enough smash... And whoever edited this with all the sliding frames and split screens etc ruined the viewing experience.
It is a musical, not only a Cinderalla story. In it's category, you can enjoy the scenes, dances and maybe acting. But I am fed up with that SJW thing. It makes me loose the concentration on the main topic.
If this movie isn’t evidence of the need to turn down CGI in Hollywood, I dunno what is.
For as many things as they got right, they got just as many wrong
Utterly disappointed. Movie felt very rushed and the editing was awkward. They skimmed right through any sort of world building. For example, literally zero explanation of why the Lin Kuei was sent to kill Hanzo or what the motivation is for Bi Han to align with Shang Tsung... or how he was able to live for centuries. The addition of Cole was completely unnecessary. MK is too rich with characters and lore that this addition is completely unjustified. The movie was stuffed with fan service and zero substance. No Mortal Kombat tournament actually took place and they had the audacity to make Shang Tsung say next time he’s bringing an army? Die hard Mortal Kombat fans should feel insulted by this movie.
I love on how the actors we're all cheesy when portraying as their "persona's" while filming the TV show.
I don't know what I expected but this was just terrible. The story was all over the place and fights weren't even that great. How does this get a 92% on Rotten tomatoes? I would skip this one.
It's a creepy, atmospheric slow-burn. The theme of loneliness explored here is interesting, as is post apocalyptic story of the dead seeping into our world.
I remember loving this movie when I was a kid. Unfortunately it has not aged very well and is pretty dated now!
Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching it and will likely watch it again next year!
A great Christmas. After 15 years of being doubtful, I fully believe in Santa again.
holy cow if this movie was trying to be deep it missed the mark it is utter trash!
Connect with your children!
What happens when self-absorbed parents raise an autistic child? Larry.
The editing was so tight in this movie that mundane moments turned into jump scares.
Very good horror film, camera movements and games with perfect music.
A good sequel to the original. Not as good, but definitely enjoyable. The story is very interesting. This film is even gorier than the original. There were a lot of annoying characters however, that's my main complaint. But other than that, a great horror film.
Was a good movie.
Big shame the f’ed it up with disgusting racist insinuations against Trump.
An edited ‘clip’ at the end to make it look like he supported despicable people. But not showing the whole video, that would show that they are lying.
They didn’t mention that the whole KKK misery was from Democrats.
Why not?
It was the Democrats who instigated all the racism, and still do today.
Barely scratches the surface of documenting what 4chan and its users are really like. However it wasn't completely out of touch and boomer'ish so I will give it a pass, somewhat.
I know far too many of their names fml
The terminator is a shameless copy of of Alex Mercer in the Prototype pc game. Also is filmed and use the same face all the time.
A really bad movie.
Night is Short, Walk on Girl is a town found at the wrong stop of a strange train, where nothing is familiar and your bearings are as lost as you are. A place where you wander aimlessly, happy to be adrift and praying you won't be home anytime soon.
Based on an illustrated Japanese novel, Night is Short... is a collection of tales revolving around a young girl on a road trip through a long night that's not long enough as she meets characters who are characters and has the kind of time you'll recognise as that one special night that came together in ways you never could have planned and still feeds you memories in nights cold enough to leave you alone.
I'm not an expert of Japanese animation (the artwork here is gorgeous) but I am a connaisseur of sincerity and this film has enough to fill the strongest of nights to the brim.
Halloween day continues with a re-watch for the 31 Days Of Horror! Love this one.
I can't give a star, i don't know what i watched for 100 mins.
I can only give it a single star, I wish I could give it less, negative stars even.
What an absolute waste of 100 minutes, I defy the reviewers here that say it is a polarizing movie, it really isn't, not even close, there is nothing to invest in, no characters to care about, nothing, this movie would have been better served by not being made at all and the makers should be ashamed of themselves for doing so.
I can’t believe how much this movie hates it’s audience. Truly aggressively awful and frustrating.
