Liv Tyler is amazing in this one :)
Perfect atmosphere (you can almost feel the hot), realistic dialogue (the italians are hilarious) and above all great message. Spike Lee's masterpiece.
What an excellent reboot! I've been a Spider-Man fan since I was a child in the eighties and I enjoyed this film very much. It's fresh and fast. The cast is great and they tell a classic Spidey story without going into origins once again. It reminded me of Brian Michael Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man.
Jimmy and Kim, what a couple! I love them :) Great episode with Mike and Lalo too. I think this season is more Breaking Badesque and that's awesome!
Matt Groening is on top of his game. This first episode is all we could have waited for. Such a brilliant constantly funny script.
Oh my god everything in this episode. Wow!
We are living in the golden age of adapting graphic novels to TV shows (Watchmen, The Boys, Preacher...). As powerful and irreverent as they could only be in print before.
This episode depicts the senseless of the club so well. And it's so funny! Man, I love Atlanta so much.
That was heartbreaking. I wasn't expecting such heavy stuff so beautifully made. I feel a deep feeling of mourning. Damn this show is so good!!!
Nooo!!! :( :( I cried.
I love this show so much. It's perfect in so many ways. I've learnt from it. It has even motivated me to work harder. Now it has reminded me about the need to live life to the fullest and give your best to the people who love you. It could end anytime.
RIP Gordon.
Gretchen Ross: You're weird.
Donnie Darko: Sorry.
Gretchen Ross: No, that was a compliment.
Don Johnston: Well, the past is gone, I know that. The future isn't here yet, whatever it's going to be. So, all there is, is this. The present. That's it.
I loved it! Thrilling, immersing, non-linear script with classic horror themes but also kind of meta!
The circular ending and, just before that, the nightmarish interconnection of the stories shot in a more expressionistic style, wow!
A classic anthology film, innovative and precursor of favorites such as the TV shows Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955) and The Twilight Zone (1959)
So much fun! I love comedic episodes and this is one of the best. I also love a good “on-shoulder camera” and this genious crossover episode delivers, of course. I even felt some Blair Witch Project vibes, I’m not sure which came first. Anyway, we have the classic Mulder vs. Scully (i.e. believer vs. scientist) clash, lots of thrilling action and great characters such as the queer black couple. So yeah, great episode from the classic TV series The X-Files, ladys and gentlemen XD
I just watched The Dreamers again fifteen years later and I loved it so much. I was the proganonists' age when it was released so probably nostalgia has a big impact but anyway, I think the film captures a moment in time (both in history and in the characters' lifes) so well. The love of cinema, the music, the revolution, the experimentation and the heartbreak... it all comes together in an explosion of cool. That "Bande à part" homage sequence for God's sake! Bertolucci and Pitt were on top of their game. They don't make them like this anymore :_)
Cheff’s parents and 3.50. So funny XD
Amazing cast. Great shots. Coolness all over the place.
Faith Justin: You know one of the ways movies are still better than playback? The music comes up, there's credits, and you always know when it's over... [turns to look at Lenny] IT'S OVER!
Realistic, merciless and very engaging. Eden Lake is a great horror movie.
"Jay Leno provides the meowing sounds for Cartman’s beloved cat, Mr. Kitty, keeping with their tradition of having big stars voice speechless creatures".
How cool is that lol.
Oh man, do I despise Walter :(
Amazing story beautifully told. I didn’t know about Vavilov. The stop motion looks gorgeous. What a great episode!
Best episode so far!! I love it when they really go over the top. Everyone was right on point.
I am late to the party but this is becoming one of my alltime favorite sitcoms right up there with Seinfeld, Friends, Spaced and Black Books.
Sandy: "What do you know? It's a cop kebap!"
Dark, ambitious and unconfortable to watch at times, this is von Trier's best work since Dogville. A must watch for all fans of the controversial danish director.
"Some people claim that the atrocities we commit in our fiction are those inner desires which we cannot commit in our controlled civilization, so they're expressed instead through our art. I don't agree. I believe Heaven and Hell are one and the same. The soul belongs to Heaven and the body to Hell. - Jack." Or is it Lars? ;D
Really good. Classic adventure film touching all the right keys. Very epic and emotional. I liked it so much that I think I will revisit the rest of the trilogy.
Erica Sayers: Everything will be better in the morning. It always is.
Don José: We all dream of being a child again, even the worst of us. Perhaps the worst most of all.
Jamal Malik: Maybe it's written.
Ben Wade: Be careful with that thing. That gun's got a curse on it.
