 x7
It's an OK revenge action movie. I loved the opening scene where our heroine shows her I-don't-give-a-f*@k-attitude. But alas, we don't really get to see that again.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Finally saw this a few yrs after Resolution. Better and more polished than that debut. Enjoyed the second half more than the first. Will continue watching this pair's other projects.
6.6
I do not understand why (re)viewers always tend to add non related matter to reviews. This movies kicks in very slow, grabbed me by the chest, and left me with just enough breath to let me watch the credits. It’s brilliant by any means, and just because it gave me an absolute delirium it deserves a 10. It deserves this score just because I think we need to get back to feel movies instead of ‘judging’ it… all the extra information is nice, but it should not be mixed up with the feeling you experience during a movie. I think I will explore the Korean cinema for a while, that’s for sure!
Like most of my dates, what I think is going to have action turns out to be psychological drama.
If the poster were four people sitting in an empty room instead of a lone outpost surrounded by a furious storm, I might've been better prepared.
It's difficult to judge a film of this magnitude, even from a cinematic perspective. It tells a heart-wrenching story. Twohey and Kantor compelled us to take a small step in the right direction, and its importance cannot be overstated.
Caught a special preview earlier tonight. It was pretty funny. I'm talking there were parts where the entire theater was laughing out loud. This kind of reminds me of raunchy love story movies like American Pie. Overall it was a lot of fun.
I know Cate Blanchett and Michelle Yeoh are deservedly the frontrunners for this year's Oscars.
However, Danielle Deadwyler should win because this was an earth-shattering performance. There is a point in the film where I thought the real Mamie Till-Mobley took over Danielle Deadwyler's body. Incredible work.
Undoubtedly and unarguably beautiful - a nearly 90-minute presentation of art, but it is so...boring. It's boring because it's not really about anything, really. The kids find the cottage in the woods. In the cottage is the witch, and then what? Personal journey's aside, nobody is trying to fix any kind of universal inequity.

I don’t understand all the hate. This was a very entertaining movie with some awesome action scenes. Turn your brain off and enjoy the ride.
Possibly the greatest movie ever! Imagine you've never seen special effects like in The Hobbit or to a lesser extent Game of Thrones then you watch this. Boom! Mind Blown! Has great bootleg versions of all your favorite stars Joel Kinnaman,Katherine Heigl,David Thewlis,Giovanni Ribisi, and yes even a mean Mongolian Danny Trejo! Pure awesomeness!!!
There is same crazy stuff going on in this stupid movie. It has some style and is entertaining at times. I appreciate Daniel Radcliffe taking this wildly different roles.
It's so much fun. It knows what type of movie it is and delivers. The story kept me on my toes. The ensemble cast is terrific. Chris Evans having a blast playing an asshole, Ana de Armas is great, and Daniel Craig playing a detective with a funny accent is a treat. I want to see this again knowing the plot so I can look for all the subtle foreshadowing.
After a rewatch I am even more impressed with how good the script is and how much is set up and paid off. This one is of the better movies of the year.
