Some people are making a fuss that the timeline is confusing. Since this is the internet it gets blown out of proportion. You get a clear hint in one episode this is happening and its easy to figure it out afterwards. That being said, just watch it! It´s really good!

Fewer monsters, less action and no messy timeline. I say this season is at least as good as the first. Personaly i think it´s better. The main characters are really good this time. Wish they would just talk more and be honest. How hard is that? Yes. This is me talking as if they´re real. It got to me. I really liked it. Go watch it.
I´m a gamer and never played Halo more than 5 minutes. I dont care if it doesnt follow the source material or if he took his helmet off. This is an incredibly awesome action sci-fi show! Just enjoy it!
The first season was about struggle, about overcoming adversity. There was no right or wrong, there was life. This show is more straightforward now, more black and white. Simpler. I still love this show, but there are too many "main" characters now and their stories dont get fully realized. It´s still great and if you´re reading a review about a forth season, you´ve invested and you´re gonna love it. Cobra Kai never dies!

I called the first season of Picard the best star trek in years. This is the best Star Trek in decades! Since the 4th or 5th season of Voyager, i cant even remember. PROPER and awesome Star Trek!
Utter garbage. Every story sucked. Tory was the only with something going on but in the end she even kissed the wrong guy.
It´s a pity. Season 1 was off the charts - completely revitalized a franchise that really just had one good movie - in my opinion the series was even better. Season 5 buries it. I´m wont say anything else. Why bother.
Is it me or all new characters from season 2 are so much better than any of those of season 1? Pike elevates every scene he´s in. By contrast Tilly just plunges everything into the abyss.
I´d rather have a made up story for the recast. We live in the multiverse. Just sayin.

The books are much better than this show! This show is doing everything wrong! You know how this goes, every book adaptation is better than the tv show or movie. With that out of the way, i havent read the books and this show is very good! Sure the main setting is a reash of LotR but it´s that old tale of light vs dark that we love! I honestly think that amazon fumbled with the trailers because this show should have been at the top of my watchlist and just now i got to see it. Nevermind what people say if you love fantasy this is a must, but not for you book readers!
What just happened? Was expecting a lame 80´s rehash but instead got a totally badass ninja show about real people just trying to figure life out! Strike first! No mercy!
First season great. Second season.. weird? Being honest i just finished watching the second season because of the first. If you´re reading this before watching it just don´t. I just saved you precious time.
Season 2 is a lot better than season 1, it´s actualy solid sci-fi. But it´s not great. Why watch it?
Season 1 is really good. 2nd season adds nothing, skip it.
Season 4. If you read the reviews from "established" critics they all rave about the growth of the series and added fresh air that Amazon gave it. It´s kinda true. The first thing i noticed is how detailed the Rocci looks and you see it everywhere, the clear upgrade in visuals, giving a real impact since the crew are now exploring new worlds.
Storywise there´s a step back. It´s still The Expanse, the same great crew, the same great secondary characters, the story structure, but... it´s a notch down. It just isn´t as gripping and amazing as before.
Although being a notch down it still is the best sci-fi show currently on air and it´s cementing it´s position as one of the best ever.
So they lost sight hundreds of years ago and still haven´t evolved; since nobody can see why do they function only in well lit areas?
The premise has serious holes in it, but at least its not nukes or zombies. Will keep at it with interest.
Somebody asked me,"should i watch it? i hear the last season was awful". You absolutely should. The last season is bad mostly by comparison and by its own high standards, but the series was declining in quality since it stopped following the books, so it was expected (for me at least). This is the greatest fantasy series ever and one of the greatest of any kind. A must watch.
These kids dish out sex advice like seasoned pros! I say this as a bad thing. Liked the part where nothing really ended, but disliked that the main characters ending was too rosy. Btw 17y me would go after Ruby the minute Maeve landed in the States.
Like the anime/manga it´s based on it´s very weird and has some serious flaws... But Luffy will get to you. It´s all heart and it´s awesome!
The show was awesome, even it it had no Star Trek vision in it, up until the Borg showed up. Then it turned very bad with a a slightly better final episode. What happened to the Borg from season 2? What´s with all the family talk? Is Vin Diesel producing this?

While the first episodes were stellar, it kinda lost a bit of its magic. Season 4 yay!
About the time it got out i tried to watch and quit after 5 min. Found it again few months later and noticed it would get a 2nd season and gave it another shot. I really really like sci-fi thrillers and that was what got me through the first 2 episodes. They are really bad. No redeeming qualities. Awful. But it gradualy picks up, bit by bit over the season and by the end we have a decent to good sci-fi show even when the aliens become a bit cliche. Watch it only if you´re a old school sci-fi lover with nothing else going on.
Can´t really give an objective rating to this show now since the first season was the best show i watched since when GoT was based on the books. I love it the story the character development (i really like what they did to Kreese) the fighting. That being said.. there was no need for another big fighting mashup and if you wanna have 10 main characters the episodes need to be bigger. But my main problem with this show now is that it isnt called Karate Kid 10 this is Cobra Kai, the story of Johnny Lawrence and his student Miguel Diaz. Hardly remember Karate Kid 2, 3, 4, remakes and whatever. The showrunners should take notice. Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai!
I really liked the first season, the second one not so much. The show was canceled while in production so you do get an "ending". If you think the show seems interesting for you just dont watch the second season.
I think the showrunners are a bit lost to what to do with Hanna. Lets call this one a 2ª season slump.
