This used to be a NICE series. But this season is so boring, that at the 56% of it, I dropped it.

What happened this season? We introduced Negan...we already knew he was a villain....so nothing else, I guess. A slower half-season build up than a Goku spirit-bomb. Are there even walkers anymore? It's like those stopped being a threat all together.

For me, as this last few years feel like a Renaissance of TV, and with so much great shows going around, TWD has descended to Barely Mediocre that with each season is just an extremer version of the previous season, but its just the same time and time again.
Not worth watching.

I watched the first two episodes of "The Walking Dead" numerous times over the years, but it never hooked me - until I tried again this past October and have now binged up to the end of season 7. There has been a definite decline in some areas, but I still enjoy this show a lot. Negan is a damn good villain, better than any we've seen in previous seasons.

The viewership for The Walking Dead's Season 7 finale stands as the third lowest in the history of AMC's post-apocaplytic zombie series, just ahead of the first season's 5.97 million viewer count and Season 2's 8.99 million figure. Likewise, the finale's 5.9 rating is also the third lowest in the show's history, ahead of the 3.0 and 4.7 ratings garnered by Season 1 and Season 2, respectively.

Awful! Just awful! The episodes have been getting worse after the first couple seasons. Season 6 was terrible and season 7 was so bad, it took me over a year to watch the whole thing. The only reason I finished it was because the Walking Dead: World Beyond looks like it might possibly be interesting. It wouldn't take much to be better then this season! I hope I can make it thru Season 8, if it's as bad as 7, I may just go into World Beyond without finishing TWD!

Ending wasn't that great, Idk why people are getting hyped over it. It's all over the same: like a soda bottle getting slowly shaken up from the start and it just pops out right at the end.

The show really repeats itself from season to season. I think it reached it high and no decreases. The strongholds just get bigger from time to time and the villains maybe a little bit meaner. They loose they comrades very fast, there is no time for building charaters. Rick starts to annoy me, because of his ambitions to be the one and only to rule... But I will continue watching I guess.

Season 7 was boring. Story is no more about the walkers which was what The Walking Dead is all about! Lets bring back the good old time of this show!

That's like the first time in years that I'm actually able to enjoy this show. All thanks to Negan. I have no idea why people call this season boring.

This season only has two excellent episodes out of 16: the premiere (of course) and the episode with Eugene (showing the gray area TWD has been good at, antagonists are not evil and protagonists are not saint). There are also other two... well, good episodes.

The rest of it... let's say it's decent but it's not worth the 45 minutes. It moves rather slowly. It's a drama of course so I'm not expecting some fast-paced action, but all too often TWD fall to the same trap over and over again: a whole episode dedicated on exploring one character or bonds between two only with unnecessary long still shots and cheesy dialogues. Those episodes have some great moments once in a while, but most of the time you'll find it a bit dull.

A great season opener followed by a disappointing first half of a season. But I did have fun with the second half, with some over the top stuff (the cable between cars, the kinda Mad Max tribe, the flying sword... it felt like they borrowed stuff from Z Nation), a bit more dynamism in going around with the different communities and some nice twists. The final death was very predictable, though the battle was fun, even if not particularly well executed (as always with action in The Walking Dead). Overall a watchable season, with some nice ideas (the Eugene conversion is fun, Daryl and Carol meeting again was cool, Morgan losing it was great, I like the more trashy ideas, Negan is fun but underused), but I hope that next year they really ramp it up with the war. Even though I fear that the "war" will be four episodes of actual fighting and twelve episodes of mediocre actors stumbling on bad dialogues.
