Everyone's getting up, but Zippy would rather stay in bed all day.
Bungle spends all day complaining about every little thing, everyone else joins in which makes Geoffrey so angry he threatens to "Go for a walk".
Zippy then throws a Cake across the room meant for Rod, Jane and Freddy's tea party.
Getting tired of Zippy's insistance that he knows everything, the Rainbow gang act out the story of Mr Know It All, a man who thinks he knows everything.
The Rainbow picnic is canceled when it rains. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Smile, Smile" to make everyone feel happy again.
Zippy runs around demanding everyone go to the park. Zippy tells Rod his plinky plonk music sounds terrible and demands he write a song about going to the park.
Everyone is making Jane a present for her birthday.
Bungle doesn't want to put his toys away, Freddy falls over them and gets angry. Geoffrey explains to Bungle that that there are certain things they must do, even when they don't want to.
George and Zippy play some jokes on Bungle. Bungle and Zippy try to trick Freddy but he's 'one step ahead of them'. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "The Joke's On Me".
Everyone dresses up and Zippy pretends to be Little Tommy Tucker and Geoffrey pretends to be his daddy. George pretends to be Mable the milkmaid and Bungle pretends to be Mr Bread the baker. Little Tommy is hungry, but he and his dad don't have enough money to buy any food, so he starts singing. Mr bread gives them a loaf of bread and Mable gives them some butter, but they need a knife to cut the bread and spread the butter. Then Mrs Roebottom arrives and she gives them a knife for the bread. Jo Roebottom reads a story called 'Monkey Business". Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Little Tommy Tucker". Little Tommy wants a wife so that everything will be alright and Mabel wants to be his wife, so he's very happy and then starts singing.
Geoffrey pretends to be a clown in a clown act with Rod, Jane and Freddy. He then explains you don't need to dress up with face paint to be a clown.
We then see some footage of a female clown entertaining some children.
The Rainbow gang act out the story of Long John Geoffrey and his parrot George who find an old map and go to look for burried treasure. They visit Rainbow island to rescue Ben Gun Bungle. There they meet him and the Rainbow singers Pinapple Polly, Coconut Charlie, and Freddy the Fruit. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Welcome To Our Island".
It's a hot day and Geoffrey's got a headache so goes inside. The boys get in each other's way as they all are in the same room but have different things to do. George wants to paint, Bungle wants to do some skipping and Zippy wants to listen to the radio. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Dance To The Music". Geoffrey reads a story called 'Edward and The Tree Adventure'. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Dance To the Music".
Geoffrey and Bungle pretend to go to space and build a rocket from a cardboard box and washing basket. Zippy and George pretend to be misson control. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Out Here In Space". Geoffrey and Bungle arrive back at the Rainbow House from Space.
Everyone is dressing up to go to a fancy dress party.

Everyone goes outside for picnic in the garden. Zippy is just too carefree, but George thinks it will rain. Geoffrey reads a story called `The Kittens' Pop Concert'. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Hazy Day" and they come to the picnic. Zippy spills ginger beer all over Freddy and then it rains, so everyone goes inside. Everyone sings "I Hear Thunder".
Bungle, Zippy and George meet a magician and try to copy his tricks. Rod, Jane and Freddy sing "Vanishing Act".
Everyone is taking advantage of George, people give him too much to do, make him to their jobs and blame him for everything. Geoffrey, Zippy and Bungle go for a walk and make George stay at home to wait for Rod, Jane and Freddy. He feels very sad and sings a sad sad song. Rod notices George and sings with him, letting him know he is a friend, he has a place and is appreciated.
Follows on almost directly from the last episode. George is too shy to ask for help, Geoffrey explains that it's okay to ask for things, and say no. George begins to be bolder
Geoffrey goes to the circus. Ringmaster George proudly presents the Rainbow circus featuring Geoffrey the Wonderful Juggler, Jane the daring Tipe-rope Walker, Zippy the Fiercest Lion and Bungle the Clown. Jane sings a song about an elephant called "Eliza".
