I feel like everything is just rushed here. The action scenes just lack any tension at all.
• This show has some of the action scenes of all time, for sure.
• Why does Annabeth scratching that dog look so fake?
• Annabeth can be hanging from a literal cliff and I literally don't feel any type of worry or excitement whatsoever.
• It's like, they're just standing there. There's a lot of standing and staring in this show, even after facing a three-headed dog from hell. Not even the characters seem moved by any of this.
And I might come back and finish this... for some reason.
A whole flashback conversation for the sake of... what?
Another fun but rushed episode. It's just lacking in the build up of tension towards the finale.
One of the better episodes of the show for sure, really loved the underworld and all the obstacles they had to face there, STILL don't feel the threat or danger of this 'war' that's brewing but a fun episode overall!
Good episode, all be it too short.
The pacing of this show is all over the place, and it reduces the stakes and tension of the episode. But I'm not gonna lie "hold fast mom" had me choking up a little bit
THIS HAD ME IN MY FEELS TBH
I knew Procrustes looked familiar, he was the ferryman in the first movie.
As for all of the episodes, it is too short.
However, this one is one of my favourites, great pace.
Way too much bloody flashbacks!
This was okay. Not quite as entertaining as other episodes. It wasnt bad at all, but just fell flat in spots and the pacing wasnt perfect. It didnt feel like the penultimate episode, it didnt really hype up for the finale.
A slightly longer episode which helped but this is a rare show that required longer episodes and maybe even another episode before this point. The compositing and design of Cerberus was really poor.
sure. realism. everything is dark in the underworld.
cant see shit.
I dont like these dark series. so. -3 for this episode.
Percy, Grover and Annabeth continue their quest into the Underworld and encounter some new faces. (Faces which will be very familiar to fans of the books.) Interesting storytelling for this episode including flashback moments of Percy with his mother and her conversation with Poseidon. Definitely gives the episode more emotional weight to it for Percy working to save his mother. When Percy found the master bolt: chills. Meeting Hades: chills. Poseidon's first on-screen appearance: chills. All of this leading up to what is bound to be a stellar season finale. Just waiting for the announcement that we're getting a season two at this point.

I thought the house of hades would be different. It lacks details.
