Legit one of the best episodes of this series so far

really enjoyed the mass effect style graphics and backdrop in this one

kind of a generic plot twist though

a big portion of this episode is just a sex scene

which I wouldn't care about if this was a normal length story

but the fact that time is important with a show like this

just kind of felt like it hogs up too much of the episode

Black Mirror and Matrix blended in together

Interesting detail in the final go around. Susie's pod has a biohazard tarp draped over it, as though she died in transit. "Greta" decided to simply take her out of the picture because she never completely took to the simulation. Her backlash caused Tom to doubt too much.

What a ride that was. An astounding animation (damn that sex scene) and a song, that i personally cant get out of my head, elevated a kinda predictable "fake reality" concept. Definately my personal favorite episode of the show.

Really great visually, top quality design, very realistic. Animation was a bit weird on Suzy though.

Plot is a classic of SF, but well done. Too bad it basically stopped at the expected reveal and didn't expand a bit more on what would have been original: where are they really, what is the creature, what is it doing, is it really benevolent, etc.

Creature and station design are great too.

The animation and details were great.
The rest was... meh?

Dunno, didn't feel like anything special really.

An episode made around a cliché Sex scene?

Great ep. The cgi was stunning and love a twisted space voyage gone wrong story.

I really hope the episodes get better. But to be honest, it can only go up from here.

This feels like somebody played Mass Effect and was like "Let's just make that but with more titties".
The twist ending wasn't terrible, but felt a bit too similar to the Matrix.
Visually pretty realistic looking.

So this is the highly praised episode of this series? A mediocre story with a pointless sex scene and bad plot twist?

Good twist, but overrated episode in my opinion.

The CGI/animation in this episode is actually insane. Can't wait to see what will be possible with that technology in a few years.

The animation wasn't in sync with the voices and overall the whole thing just felt like an excuse for the stereotypical sex scene (including pouring champagne on boobs) we have already seen in hundreds of other movies, but I liked the look of the space station and the ending actually surprised me.

This episode was great, the previous ones were too, but this one stuck out. The graphics were stunning, I can't believe how close to real life they got with their rendering, and the story was fantastic.

That was pretty great. Visually very strong, I especially liked the space craft designs. I assume the character work was all done with mo-cap which is still something that never feels quite natural, but the performances helped. In particular, Greta's face was an incredible piece of work, extremely lifelike - meanwhile, the other characters suffered from the uncanny valley effect. However, the performance for Suzy was all a bit offputting in an unnatural way.

I enjoyed the story quite a bit, pretty scary stuff once the reveal comes so it's probably for the best that Thom's memory is erased.

Visually stunning, with a few moments of uncanny valley and a few more of horniness.

I somehow get the feeling I'm dangling in "Unpopular Opinion Territory" when it comes to this show.

I acknowledge that the animation is great. Though I also admit I prefer this very realistic style within video games instead of animated movies or TV Shows.

I think the voice performances were a bit lacking this episode which wasn't helped by some of the most generic run-in-the-mill dialogue I've ever come across.

Also wasn't a fan that a huge part of this episode was basically just a sex scene that did not further plot or characterisation. I get it was to establish the previous relationship between Thom and Greta, but with the limited amount of time an episode has, some further information about the world or characters would've been nice. Especially if you want the audience to care for them.

What did make the episode in the end was the horrifying twist. I mean sure it was obvious something wasn't right, but the world beyond Thom's illusion and whatever the hell Fake Greta was, was just terrifying. It took this actually very ordinary story and spiced it up.
