Adaptation of the novel by Alexandre Dumas.
In 19th-century Corsica, the da Franchi twins are caught up in a centuries-old vendetta between their family and the de Guidicis. The swashbuckling Lucien wants to maintain the Corsican traditions, including the bloody vendetta. Louis, however, wants to change and goes to Paris to work laws to outlaw the vendetta.
