Victoria Neumann gives me chills down my spine. She's literally the scariest character in The BOYS universe
the best use of heads will roll
Welp, clearly Butcher is now the moderate choice and we should follow his lead. :grinning:
Such an amazing episode, Sam starting to become evil, Heads will roll, Cate growing to her full potential, Jordan and Marie, everything was just perfect
I forgot she was the mysterious head popper  need to rewatch the boys after this. Good show so far!
The thing I love about The Boys series is that it's such a realistic take on superhumans. Also I have no idea who to trust or root for anymore. Victoria Newman is a pure snake, whilst homelander is a sadistic manchild with superpowers. Butcher gives no fucks about anyone or anything. Everyone is absolutely unstable and it's compelling. Can't wait for season 4
Didn't expect the reveal that Neumann and Marie share the same powers, that's really cool! Can't wait for Marie to pop her first head :innocent:
I really do hope Sam doesn't turn evil, he is so kind. Yeah it's very realistic that someone as sheltered and naive as him can get influenced and radicalized very easily but we already had that plotline with Homelander's son and I'm tired of all the most powerful supes being villains.
Funny ending song. I kinda forgot about Neumann in The Boys so the ending didn't shock me. Hoping for a good finale.
Oof, confirmation of the potential of Marie's powers right there! Neuman is stone cold and I kinda love it
The dichotomy of Marie and Cate's character development was beautifully presented. Cate's pivotal moment arose when her own mother rejected her out of fear. This critical juncture in her life showcased Dean stepping in to provide the affection and acceptance she longed for, effectively filling the void her birth mother had left. Cate ultimately overcame her yearning for love and approval and embraced the very qualities her original mother had dreaded, evolving into the formidable figure her birth mother had always feared she would become. Dean's death symbolized a defining moment for both Marie and Cate in their journey as super-powered individuals. Marie remained committed to her mission of doing good, shaping her identity, while Cate was marked by her brokenness, setting her apart from Marie. This dichotomy underscores a central theme in The Boys Universe: how superpowers impact the character of deeply flawed individuals. Marie consistently sought to reconcile her guilt and actions, in stark contrast to Cate, who grappled with her past transgressions and found solace in any available means to combat her fear of being untrustworthy and unlovable, particularly in moments of emotional and psychological vulnerability.
With Neuman around it's always an horror episode. It's kinda predictable how she would do it though, but the tense lingers in the whole episode - not knowing when exactly she will deliver some bloody justice. The most interesting part of this episode is however this connects to Marie Moreau, and directly serves as a plot point to (I assume) The Boys Season 4. I give it only a 7 because of how much of exposition dump the first half of the episode is though.
So as we prepare for the final showdown who can we trust?
They were wrong for that end credits song.
Loving the shorter run time. Works so much better. Also Jordan Li (female) actress name is London Thor... amazing.
Okay, another star down for Dusty. When an innocent person who looks like a child dies, you don't give a fuck, but when a bitch who wants to kill you all dies, you can shit yourself. Makes sense.
Heads will roll. I honestly like a lot of the cast here. Andre, Marie, Cate, Emma. Even the villains have good motives. She did deserve that death though ♂
nothing is chill when Victoria Neuman is around
That was a great episode
what a good ending...
It exploded hahaha...!!!
nice. this episode is a great recovery to the season - it was seriously starting to drag the last few episodes!
What a plot twist in the final!

Potential future spoilers ahead
It seems pretty clear to me that Indira isn't dead. Cate actually switched sides again and the whole murder scene was all in their head.
