The puppets moment was incredible! Writers from "The Boys" always know how to surprise!
In episode V of Gen V, while the pace slows down, the violence and storytelling improve quite a bit. The director really went all out on his love for feet with this one though.
oh this episode was an absolute banger, a great mix of heartbreaking and exciting
this episode is just a filler
In the previous episode, I suspected Cate being an accomplice, but the plot hole in this episode was that when everyone woke up wiped, she didn't have bloodshot eyes... Omitting that, feels like dishonest storytelling.
Also, why does Andre's voice change so much when he's using his power? Is that how he activates it? Or is that just his "angry" voice?
Still not as good as the first episodes but things are getting serious.
I don't get it, if she made Luke forget about Sam, why did he kill himself in the first episode?
I'm really fed up with woke b*llshit. It spoils the show to me, it's disgusting.
I can't believe they used my two favorite Halloween songs in a single episode, this was amazing!
So the cats out of the Bag.... Cates opto no good, but not exactly sure what?
I don't really care about Sam that much. Feel like that type of character has been done before. Whiney overpowered sad boi just wants to be loved. Ugh.
Didn't see the Cate twist coming. Also it took me so long to recognise the actor playing her? She's completely different from how she looked in Teenage Bounty Hunters
Show was on a roll. This ground it to a halt. I don't care about the Sam stuff at all.
I like Gen V, after the third episode I was really excited to continue the story (and I'm following it weekly) I liked this episode, even if the idea of making the story go in circles just to get a revelation at the end bothers me a little, but what bothered me most about this whole equation is something that bothers me a lot about managing this universe: "how to make a story adult? Let's be disruptive, take some childish things like puppets and make a brutal fight sequence"... Wow, violence... This isn't the first time this has happened in the Voughtverse, we had a similar sequence with Black Noir in S3 (referenced in this episode), and in the previous episode there was that strange sequence with the guy talking to the puppet from The Deep, like... what's the fun in all this? What's the purpose? Shock? Be disruptive? Adult? For me it doesn't work.
So was Cate lying about Rufus or??
I really liked the pace on this episode, so much happened, it even felt the cliff hanger at the end was just because they ran out of time.
ooo this episode was so fucking good, it felt like the hangover
Didn't see the new baddie coming. I seriously love thos crazy f*ed up show haha.
