The Genoese police station of San Teodoro is turned upside down by the arrival of Blanca, a young blind woman who can finally realize the dream she has had since childhood: becoming a police consultant. Blanca initially faces everyone's distrust, but she soon demonstrates that she can make an original contribution to the investigations starting with the case of Margherita, a woman found dead under the former Morandi Bridge in mysterious circumstances. While she begins to establish a relationship with Lucia, the victim's twelve-year-old daughter, Blanca uses her ability to compensate with her other senses and an incredible intuition for her lack of sight and her "superpowers" prove invaluable in the investigation of the case.
The body of sixteen-year-old Camillo is found in an ancient noble palace. The case closely affects Liguori, Blanca's charming colleague: the building belongs to her family and there are painful memories for him linked to it. The suspect is Liguori's uncle: Blanca searches for the truth, while she tries to stay close to Lucia and is torn between Liguori and Nanni, her friend and chef. Meanwhile, from the past, someone returns to question his credibility.
Just when Blanca tries to convince herself that she doesn't care about Liguori, having discovered his affair with the journalist Marinella, her son disappears. Commissioner Bacigalupo thinks of a voluntary removal, but Blanca discovers that little Gabriele has been kidnapped. Blanca collaborates in the investigation by listening to the kidnappers' wiretaps, but she feels ready to make a difference on the field too, not just behind the scenes. Her choice, however, will have serious consequences for her.
Our team is investigating the trafficking of Nazi artefacts which is allegedly headed by Lorenzo, a former drug dealer who now manages his girlfriend's family's diving centre. But can a man really change his life? Blanca also asks herself this question, trying to understand what she feels for Liguori, who is increasingly elusive, and for Nanni. Meanwhile, without her knowledge, someone sneaks in to spy on her in the same house as her.
The disappearance of a young doctoral student in engineering reopens an unfinished business in Liguori's past. The main suspect, in fact, is the powerful oilman Piccardo, who has Livia, Liguori's mother, as his lawyer. The case will inevitably bring the conflicted relationship between the two back to the surface, while an unaware Blanca is increasingly in danger at the hands of someone who now controls her and wants to harm her.
The case that Blanca finds herself investigating interests her very closely: it concerns Carmine Russo, the father of Sebastiano, the boy she had indicated as her sister's murderer. The girl's health is increasingly compromised, while without knowing it she is inexorably approaching a dangerous trap that has been waiting for her for some time now.
Blanca, now officially promoted to police consultant, works a lot and must learn to find a new balance. Sebastiano is in prison awaiting trial, but despite everything she thinks that the young man deserves a second chance (to the surprise of Liguori, who tries to dissuade her). But the attentions of Blanca and the San Teodoro police station are soon catalyzed by the case of a dangerous serial attacker, nicknamed Polibomber, who is targeting the Genoa Police...
The police station investigates a ring of clandestine dog fighting, while Blanca deals with some thorny personal issues: Lucia feels betrayed by her and rejects her, while the closeness between Sebastiano and Blanca triggers Liguori's jealousy. Even Blanca, however, is a little jealous, because Veronica reappears in the inspector's life, a childhood friend and now a charming lawyer who works for her mother Livia.
Blanca investigates a murder case that occurred at the Ferraris studio and her friend Stella arrives in Genoa to introduce her to her new boyfriend. On the sentimental front, for Blanca there is no shortage of skirmishes with Liguori, who begins to date Veronica, while she becomes increasingly closer to Sebastiano. Lucia always needs her as a point of reference and Polibomber returns to threaten the police station.
The case of the attacker is officially reopened and a crisis unit led by Paolo Sivori, head of Digos, is established to deal with it. Blanca is torn between this and a murder whose only witness is a young blind girl. Meanwhile, while a peaceful family atmosphere seems to have returned to his house, Sebastiano gets into trouble. Liguori faces a delicate personal issue that could bring him closer to Blanca.
The mysterious attack against a man of Middle Eastern origins, which occurred in a city park, is being investigated. Meanwhile, Sebastiano unexpectedly finds himself at the center of the investigation into the bomber's case. Liguori is once again divided between Veronica, with whom he has rediscovered a side of himself hidden for some time, and Blanca, who has always attracted him. While Blanca puts herself to the test with Lucia by being her mother in all respects, a series of events will make her become the protagonist of the investigation into the bomber again.
The attacker is still dangerously at large and Blanca and her colleagues at the San Teodoro police station face the consequences. For Blanca, catching him becomes a real obsession, in a race against time that will leave her in suspense until the end. By carrying out the investigation at any cost, even alone, Blanca will have to face her limits and choose who she really wants to be, making decisions that could change her life and that of those around her.
