Blanca, now officially promoted to police consultant, works a lot and must learn to find a new balance. Sebastiano is in prison awaiting trial, but despite everything she thinks that the young man deserves a second chance (to the surprise of Liguori, who tries to dissuade her). But the attentions of Blanca and the San Teodoro police station are soon catalyzed by the case of a dangerous serial attacker, nicknamed Polibomber, who is targeting the Genoa Police...
The police station investigates a ring of clandestine dog fighting, while Blanca deals with some thorny personal issues: Lucia feels betrayed by her and rejects her, while the closeness between Sebastiano and Blanca triggers Liguori's jealousy. Even Blanca, however, is a little jealous, because Veronica reappears in the inspector's life, a childhood friend and now a charming lawyer who works for her mother Livia.
Blanca investigates a murder case that occurred at the Ferraris studio and her friend Stella arrives in Genoa to introduce her to her new boyfriend. On the sentimental front, for Blanca there is no shortage of skirmishes with Liguori, who begins to date Veronica, while she becomes increasingly closer to Sebastiano. Lucia always needs her as a point of reference and Polibomber returns to threaten the police station.
The case of the attacker is officially reopened and a crisis unit led by Paolo Sivori, head of Digos, is established to deal with it. Blanca is torn between this and a murder whose only witness is a young blind girl. Meanwhile, while a peaceful family atmosphere seems to have returned to his house, Sebastiano gets into trouble. Liguori faces a delicate personal issue that could bring him closer to Blanca.
The mysterious attack against a man of Middle Eastern origins, which occurred in a city park, is being investigated. Meanwhile, Sebastiano unexpectedly finds himself at the center of the investigation into the bomber's case. Liguori is once again divided between Veronica, with whom he has rediscovered a side of himself hidden for some time, and Blanca, who has always attracted him. While Blanca puts herself to the test with Lucia by being her mother in all respects, a series of events will make her become the protagonist of the investigation into the bomber again.
The attacker is still dangerously at large and Blanca and her colleagues at the San Teodoro police station face the consequences. For Blanca, catching him becomes a real obsession, in a race against time that will leave her in suspense until the end. By carrying out the investigation at any cost, even alone, Blanca will have to face her limits and choose who she really wants to be, making decisions that could change her life and that of those around her.
