The series is much more serious than it looks like in the first place, and the last episode just confirms that you should look deeper into what these series are about in real.
This shit is absolutely hilarious!
I loved the ending of the second season! It felt real or as real as it can be with the premise scenario and it definitely felt more hopeful than first season's ending
Hopefully it will get renewed for a season three. I'll be looking forward to seeing how they can raise the stakes.
Definitely worth a watch if you're into snarky commentary about ridiculous topics in a show that somehow manages to feel realer than other, more serious TV-dramas currently running.
Also, the acting is good to fantastic.
Really unique and hilarious show. The show manages to simultaneously be a parody of the current true crime documentary trend, while managing to also create an extremely compelling mystery with a zany cast of characters who are given an unprecedented amount of depth. I expected this to be straight up "Scary Movie" type comedy, and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that this show is so much more serious than you would think. Really loved it and can't wait to see some more!
Let's be real, this is opportunistic. It's drawing out a Serial-style and making the subject matter dicks. Here and there you can chuckle. You can ride along with the goofy tone. But, seriously, it's not overly compelling or witty writing. It's not reliant on any real character portrayals besides the main suspect, which can get a little heavy. If I wasn't quasi-compulsive and in the habit of completing things I start, I'd be pretty okay if I just heard how it resolved. It doesn't require more words.
I went into it thinking it would just be a silly and fun show to watch. Instead, it was a fascinating, well written parody of true crime shows with the same serious theme, covering a silly subject matter. The characters were interesting and flawed and it is a fairly realistic portrayal of high school life. I would love to see a second season of this show.
Funny, yes, but it ultimately makes telling points about the way we perceive others. Worth watching.
Going in I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. For what is meant to be a satirical style investigative show, it's got quite the serious undertone...and then instead of killing and hard crimes, you had penis and poop jokes. It is right up my alley, but I will say that the first season is hands down the better of the two seasons. I personally wish there were more seasons, or at least more shows like this, but I think it is safe to say it would be hard to make a quality show like this feel fresh and go on any longer. There are only so many fabricated twists you can put into a school investigation. With that being said, I do think this is a show that everyone should at least check out, it might just be you next favorite four hour binge.
Average Season Review: 8/10
Recommendation: At Least Give it a Whirl (For Satire Fans)
Another Gem that Neflix cancelled.
We need more shows and film like this.
why does it say that the show has ended? Netflix actually renewed it for a second season last year.
I gave this crap 10 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. This show is terrible unless you're 14 years old and think having dicks painted on cars is hilarious. There's no story and definitely no humour in this 'comedy.' 0/10 This show is terrible!!
Way more entertaining than I thought this show would be. I shouldn't of waited so long. Eight quick episodes made this an easy watch. I'd like another season but I don't need it.
I'm still watching, but holly shit, Alex is bitching with Dylan.
A solid, clever parody that is in and of itself an engaging and quick show.
At first it's a bit odd, but if you just give into it, the characters are quite charming and the humour is effective. It's not non-stop jokes and laughter, but instead relies more on more subtle, deeper humour (but there's still plenty of laugh-out-loud moments).
The best thing is the idea, pretty funny and original.

A delicate combination of criminology and stupid funny shit. This is so genius.
