One of the scariest movies i've watched in a while. It reminded me a lot of Alien, but to be honest it was a lot better than Alien.
Great movie, could be the sequel to Prometheus.
I'm surprised that this movie has fairly low ratings because I thought it was totally awesome. Gruesome, dark, brilliantly made and thrilling throughout.
The ending, O my! Fantastic. Music, beautiful! Editing, special effects, the overall vibe of the movie, brilliant. Cast, perfect.
I didn't find a single negative thing about this movie. Hell, I would watch it again and again but this was best seen in a cinema, excellent movie for a big screen to let all those gruesome things feel extra nasty.
I wouldn't even say this is a spoiler. You guys should already know what happens whenever you put a black person in a horror movie. You already should know who dies first, lol
You can see the influences from well known films in this one, but still stands firmly on it's own. Horror scifi with likable characters and a very well designed alien! Oxygen mask is recommended...
I mostly enjoyed the movie. The acting was great and I did enjoy the performances they gave. The movie tried to make you feel empathy for the characters before eventually having them killed off, but mostly it became about the various ways the characters were going to die. Which made the attempt of a twist at the end obvious.
I find movies like this enormously enjoyable.
GRAVITY plus the extraordinary. A space mission episode from DOCTOR WHO but without the Doctor. ALIEN but with a... oh, it's rather like ALIEN.

Slow paced but solid sci fi. It had a great cast but I don't feel they were utilized effectively. The storyline was predictable and more character development could have been made with less of the documentary broadcasts to earth. Due to the lack of development, the subsequent deaths of certain characters were flat leaving the audience to just not care. There was beautiful imagery and the filming left you in awe of space. It did not, however, add to any suspense. Maybe I've just seen this storyline played out one too many times for it to hold any suspense value. Still worth watching, it just wasn't remotely scary.
