A good movie with a NOT so interesting ending. Read the book instead, its darker. Still the movie was good to watch once. 6/10

Movie was not that bad , I enjoyed it and its not really scary at all like someone say.it made me cry bad when sam died .
Not the best screening of a book. But story is too hard to be filmed, IMHO. Still a decent attempt.
It would have been better if all the way through one didn't have to wonder why Sandra Bulloch took the role. The writing was beneath her talent. And the ending......meh.
overrated!!! I really don't understand the hype. Sandra acting is so good as always,there is some good scenes but while I was waiting much much more . I got the meaning of that we should always think of the blind and how difficult to live and thank God for the blessing of being able to see and "it has been their whole life living like that even before the mysterious force" but As a whole it could have been a lot better. It also reminds me of 'A Quite Place" which on the other hand I loved it
This movie looks a lot like 'the happening' but in a worst way. The first part was really good and well done but from the point she had the baby to the end it was so boring. There is not happy ending in a movie considered Horror/thriller.

I'm willing to suspend disbelief about an evil that kills you when you see it. However, how does this evil not find its way under a sheet or through an open door? Just close the door and know for certain that the evil remains outside?

I'd read some good reviews, I'd read some bad reviews so I went into it not expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised.
At 2 hours long perhaps it did go on a bit, however I felt the pacing of the movie was just about perfect.
Although not as terrifying nor captivating as its made out to be, Bird Box is a competent and suspenseful thriller featuring a fantastic performance from Sandra Bullock. Unfortunately it's about 30 minutes too long and the non-linear storytelling serves to be nothing but a distracting disturbance in tone.
Really enjoyed Trevante Rhodes and John Malkovich in this film. This is the first film I have ever seen Trevante in, and now I really want to see Moonlight. However, I felt that Sandra Bullock's performance was a little forced in this film. I haven't seen that many Sandra Bullock movies, so maybe this is just how she normally acts. Regarding the story, I feel like the writer of the screenplay, and I assume the book, read too much Lovecraft. Got a weird Children of Men and In the Mouth of Madness vibe from this as well.
They could of made a series out of this and ran it for 20 seasons with no real ending. You know, like Lost or The walking Dead?

Eerie, compelling and tenseful. Excellent strong acting performance by Sandra Bullock. Suspenseful. Stunning cinematography and great musical score! Great concept! could have been much more. The movie didn't gave explanations about why the horrific events are happening and the run-time should have been shorter. Not a fan of the ending.
It’s just me who thinks this is exactly the same like “A Quiet Place”? Anyway, better than thought. Good for a one time thriller before sleep.

This movie was Too long Terrible Pace and a Below Average Plot... I appreciated the backstory but the present plot wasn't executed well.. Overall Below Average Movie they should've cut the run time shorter IMO.. 3/5 I gave it
Absolutely loved it.
Bird Box had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The movie takes on a mostly dark and depressing tone, but has just the right amount of well timed comedic relief and lighter moments.
Going into Bird Box I didn't expect much, as I haven't been super impressed by any of Netflix's movies (shows are different) But by the second act, I knew regardless of how the movie resolved I'd be glad I watched it.
The violence and gore are prominent, so if that's something that turns you away from movies this might not be for you. It isn't excessive but it's definitely there.
I would highly recommend this movie. Potentially my favorite thriller I watched this year.
The representation of the threat in the film is totally unreal. It is a great burden for the movie. Still the result is acceptable
Really good movie! Not immensly scary but keeps you entertained and on the edge of your seat.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good cast, good suspense. Well worth a watch.
Coming up next... creatures that kill with sound,,, but only when its convenient to the plot.
Back to this one; I didn't like it because of the cliche's... also that monitor thing was stupid.
It never quite reaches its intriguing potential, but strong acting and an effectively chilly mood offer intermittently creepy compensation.
