The man who put a smile on the face of everyone he met. Top 10 shows of all time, I feel sorry for anybody who doesn't get it. This rewatch made me realise how much Nathan Fielder borrowed from this. S1 is about the life of the ordinary, S2 is about manipulating authenticity and the Christmas special is about loneliness. This show gets better with time AND gets better with every watch. David Brent is a warning for any lost men, so it's extra sad that Ricky Gervais unironically became him in real life :(
