In the beginning of the season i said i was growing tired of doctor who, and maybe i should take a break. Well that didn't happen and i binged the season. Overall, it's one of the weakest seasons, but i enjoyed it enough to keep watching.
I liked Nardole and Bill as companions, but they're probably my least favorite.
I don't like at the end the doctor only temporarily stopped them, and the cybermen will soon repair and convert Nardole and all those people.
The cybermen in the episode weren't particularly interesting. It was mostly about Bill being one, and it was explored decently. Season 2 still remains the best version and exploration of the cybermen.
Missy should have had a better ending, and i would have liked to see her stand with the doctor. Because the doctor never knew either that she would have stood with him.
Sudden appearance of the puddle girl? EH? No. That's just bad. Random and bad. But okay, at least Bill can survive well. Though now it's another companion, the second companion in a row that gets immortality and can travel the universe. It's so fanfiction-y.
Stupid.
The pilot can fly the tardis. Why is everyone flying the tardis? It's annoying.
The pilot saving Bill and the doctor undercuts all the emotion and weight of events.
I loved the ego echoing of 10's comments of not wanting to go.
Look at the sheer EGO and SELFISHNESS of 12 not wanting to change.
Maybe if he had his memories of Clara he'd be a lot more willing to change.
I understand his desire to survive, to stay alive, and the grief and trauma and guilt of continuously changing, but this is more ego shown than 10, and here 12 is even worse. At least 10 gave into it at the end.
