Gosh, that was sad. And I don’t think Jake needed to leave Sadie. Sadie didn’t die because it was her fate, like that man’s daughter. Clearly it wasn’t her fate, because she made it to the present. Her death was a consequence of trying to stop Lee, the past pushing back. So I think they could’ve had their life together, and it would’ve spared me the emotion turmoil.
