That Karen plot armour tho... So first she found out about suspicious company funds and told her boss and co-worker about it, her boss and co-worker ended up dead, but she got away with it. Then she started her own little investigation and was very reckless despite knowing that she is up against a very dangerous man who is involved with gangs, drugs, human trafficking, murder, etc. Yet somehow Fisk and co still leave her be and instead, Ms. Cardenas was the one who got killed. And for some reason, after she got in contact with Fisk's mom, Wesley decided to have a chat with her instead of straight up killing her, while others were killed for much less. Even more surprisingly, Wesley conveniently and unnecessarily decided to put a loaded gun in front of her. Aaaaaaaand in this episode, she survives yet again after meeting Fisk's mother under his nose and killing Wesley, and instead, it's the man who she manipulated into meeting Fisk's mother that dies for all her reckless behaviours.
She could've at least told Urich she was threatened by Fisk's man for meeting his mother and warn him that they might also come for him, after dragging the man into this mess and manipulating him like that, but nope, it seems she gives no care about Urich's safety at all.
Urich's death is partially her fault. After being warned numerous times about being more careful and discreet, she never listens and just had to let the world know she is going against Fisk without even having any concrete evidence. Matt and Foggy are lawyers, Urich is a senior reporter, and they all told her that what she has is not enough, but she just had to be so impatient and stupid and do it her own way and put people in danger. smh
