3 Thoughts After Watching ‘The Mortuary Collection’:
That childbirth scene was… memorable.
There were some original and creative ideas here, some decent twists. I like the way the stories got progressively more complex. But the potential was hampered down by a few flawed performances and some lazy writing.
For the final story, I loved how the juxtaposition of the stereotypical babysitter slasher film on the television helped fuel the twist of the main story.
Bonus Thought: Could that woman in the first story have tried leaving that bathroom ANY SLOWER? Infuriating.
