Yet another under-rated gem by Kathryn Bigelow. Blue Steel may not be as solid Near Dark and Point Break. But it is a well acted thriller with not much like it. The late Ron Silver is perfect as a mad man who goes on a killing spree after stealing a gun from a robbery. Not only that but he stalks Curtis, a rookie cop. Affer getting her in trouble for no gun being at the scene. After she killed a robber.
