One of my favorite Disney movies and my favorite of the series. A perfect end to the trilogy as it sums up Lightning McQueen's career and life at Radiator Springs. After overcoming struggles in racing on the international circuit, Lightning McQueen has continued his dominance in the US, but a new foe has risen as younger racers are starting to proof McQueen's age as they are faster. So McQueen has to resort to new training strategies in order to continue to compete at a high level. On his journey he runs across a new character that ties together lose end from the first film and another one that helps complete the whole "motional" theme this film brings to light so well. The plot set up and sequencing was very well done with comical and emotional pieces here and there. There is a huge surprise ending that just closes out the series so well, but still leaving fans wanting to know how McQueen's life continues on.
