As much as this show has gone downhill in the last 7 or so seasons, I really do enjoy it.
But with the release of the most recent season it’s obvious that this show should have ended a long time ago.
Recent stories are filled with nothing but recycled plots and heavy handed social issues. While I appreciate them high lighting these issues, there was a finesse that was present in the plots of the past that is no longer there in the recent seasons.
I’ll watch the last season to know how it ends but it’s sad to see a great show this end on such a low.
