I'm grateful there are serious scifi tvshow. There aren't that many in the cyberpunk genre either. That said 2nd season wasn't as good as first one. It falls into the same traps I see many other shows and movies fall in. Not even sure if it's a trap. Unnecessary melodrama is probably much easier to come up with than a decent scifi story. I never finished the book so I don't know if second season was even based on the book at all.
