I had rather high expectations for this but I struggled through it from ep.1. Gave up after ep.5 in season one. The scripts all have logic errors where you simply have to turn a blind eye for it to work. This is most of the time painted over by slow-mo shots and very emotional music that covers those errors. The whole thing with Alice is completely rubbish. In the first episode Luther wants nothing but to arrest her for the murder of her parents. Not long after that they enter a weird kind of friendship, he even asks her for help despite telling her over and over again to leave him alone. And, of course, Alice all of a sudden falls in love with him. Pretty far fetched. I get it, it's all supposed to be entertainment. But that is just it, I wasn't entertained.
