Overall the episode was good, but not great. Again a continuation of the previous episode, setting up things for the finale, tying up lose ends and setting up the finale battle between Murdock and Fisk.
Biggest take aways from the episode:
There is a darker past to Karen than we know and it still haunts her. The team is completely broken up, opposite from the beginning of the season The attack on Vanessa was to manipulate Fisk by the very people he trusts.
And the big kicker was Ben's death at the hands of Fisk, going after a story that put him next to a shark. As the most experience in the group, he worked as the wisdom or teacher for the group, but Matt wouldn't have been able to move forward into the person he needs to be, if the group mentor, the one that knows what he is doing, who can see goblins in the shadows, was still holding their hand. For the children to grow up, the parents must die. And Ben died so that Matt Murdock would be forced to be the person who can live in the shadows, like Ben could.
