@hexenbeest I've just spent the past 2 weeks watching this from start to finish and thought the same thing.I don't know if S5 seemed slow due to the time jumps, or if the time jumps were to try and disguise the slow story.
@jwh82 I know what you mean. Personally I think the scriptwriters couldn't think of anything more interesting and with the deadline approaching they just cobbled this season together. And the wife.............so so irritating with 'Ray' being her every other word. I stopped watching it after maybe the 3rd episode and just can't bring myself to go back to it again. Same with Supernatural.
@hexenbeest as long as you watch the 30 second "previously on Ray Donovan" segment at the start of Season 6, you really don't need to bother with the rest of Season 5.
@jwh82 I take it Season 6 is better? Otherwise I won't bother keeping the show on my lists.

Loved the first 4 seasons but season 5 is a non-starter so far. Waiting............waiting...........waiting for it to get going.
