Did the doctor truly save the day once this season? It seems that others have always thought of the solution, or saved the day (sometimes directly against his wishes) which makes all his talk about being the smartest in the room so arrogant. There could have been a better end for Bill than this almost magic end. Least it could have been a post credit or web scene rather than stuff up the flow. When Bill was restored why didn't she at least ask if the Dr could be restored? So many things to deal with in this episode (2 masters, 2 doctors, cybermen, a disaster, 2 cities, and the loss and restoration of a companion) and so much more could have be explored. sometimes less is more.
