So much anticipation and so much disappointment, "Lawless" is a movie with a very good cast but a very dissapointing execution in terms of script. The acting is acceptable at times, and while Guy Pearce did a great job as the villain, "Lawless" didn't bring any excitement to a genre that needs the big excitement in order to work. The film felt boring at times and really didn't make you feel interested in some parts of the movie. Shia's acting was average as usual and so is this movie overall, as a big gangster movies fan I found "Lawless" acceptable but not at the level it should had been.
