Was Penny really complaining that Leonard isn't putting enough effort into their relationship? Really? Isn't he the one who's actually trying most of the time? And of course Leonard's the one who initiates the apology. I really don't know why they're even together. To me it only feels like Leonard loves Penny because she's pretty and Penny loves him because he adores her. Their relationship just doesn't feel real.
