This episode was SO good! Would have watched a movie based on this, really enjoyed it. The animation, voice acting and story were all phenomenal.

MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 6:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
This was boring and I honestly don't want to watch this. The only reason I am is because I have bad OCD and I have to do this otherwise it'll set off and I'll get Anxious over it. All I can say is this season was absolutely dreadful from start to finish and the quicker Fear the Walking Dead ends the quicker I will be happier.
I'm far too emotionally invested at this point to just give up on it but I am SO tempted to. Half the time I have no idea what is going on so I just sit back and watch the awful acting. Poor Alicia has been side lined to the point where half the time you forget she exists but when she is the centre piece of the episode she carries it! Why are they pushing her aside so bad? Morgan is yet again miserable, watching him is so so bad. Lennie James isn't a bad actor by any means and I actually love his work but it feels like he himself can't be bothered with the show and he just wants to give up. Victor is a shadow of his former self and watching him is just boring, he has none of his former stand out qualities and he's became just as dull as everyone else. They killed off one character who actually gave the show some form of watchability and now without John it's even worse. Finally you have Dakota who my god she is ANNOYING. I don't see the point in her, she just runs around all awkward. Thankfully they said goodbye to her and Nuked her. That was possibly the only good decision they made.
I'm honestly baffled with myself, I really don't understand why or how I managed to watch this. All it did was bore the life out of me but I'm too stubborn to give up on it. Nothing about this show was worth watching and it's honestly the worst Zombie show I have watched. Thankfully they stopped with the silliness of season 5 and somewhat became more serious but it's at the point now where the damage is done and they can't repair it.
Overall I'd say this season was abysmal and is definitely not worth watching unless you're like me and you're too stubborn to give up on it. I really miss the original seasons and the original cast, especially Nick... Damn I miss Nick.
Really enjoyed this, at times the story got a little bit slow (mainly with the whole Kwan Ha arc) but overall it was great. If you take this as separate from the Halo games and more of a "spin off" it's a LOT more enjoyable. Really enjoyed watching Master Chief fight for his humanity, the action was great and the cast all performed well. Very excited for season 2 especially with that ending . 8/10
MY THOUGHTS ON LUCIFER:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Once again another show that had potential but went with the silly detective route. If only they focused more on the supernatural side of things and less on the romance and detective side it could have been an amazing show. I'm not saying remove the whole detective stuff or Chloe and Lucifer's romance, I'm more saying just make that a secondary side of the show and make the whole Biblical and Supernatural side the main focus.
As much as I originally loved this show I noticed after the first season it was going downhill and became more and more worse. I absolutely loved the first season and recommended it to everyone but as soon as season two had started the show lost it's touch to me and I didn't have that same feeling toward it as I once did.
When Lucifer got cancelled It kind of upset me seeing as I was still quite invested into the show but then Netflix came to the rescue and brought it back from the dead. I thought that would be AMAZING for the show and they would be better off with Netflix now owning the show but nope, I was wrong. In fact the show became worse. It focused more on the detective side and became ridiculously cheesy, so I gave up on it and focused on other shows.
After quitting the show I thought i'd miss it but surprisingly I didn't, I was actually relieved to stop watching the show. Which in my eyes says it all really. If you're into buddy cop shows with a tiny bit of Supernatural elements and a whole lot of cheese then this show is definitely for you... Unfortunately it just wasn't the show for me.
Overall rating: 5/10
And its finished! The first ever show I fell in love with. Its had its major ups and downs but overall it was a solid show filled with emotion, intense scenes and loveable characters.
The earlier seasons were definitely The Walking Dead's "prime" but the show never failed to somewhat deliver. I'll hold this show very fondly and very closely in my heart and remember it as the TV masterpiece it was.
If you've never watched The Walking Dead and you're reading this, give it a chance and join the TWD Family, it'll be rough at times but boy it'll be worth every second.
Thank you, The Walking Dead 2010 - 2022
I honestly couldn't stand this movie, Patrick Bateman is like an extremely bad mixture of; Norman Bates and Jim Carrey. Such a bad movie.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 5:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
In all honesty Van Helsing's season 5 was extremely mediocre. From start to finish I was always disappointed in it, nothing ever happened that kept me interested enough to actually want to continue watching the show. It ended up getting to the point where I just stopped watching the last few episodes and just waited for the entire show to be available on Netflix to watch it all.
Once again Vanessa was not to be seen throughout this season, in a sense it was good because Jack was now the "main" character and Vanessa was always a headache but that just meant one thing, she'd return at the end and be the superhero which not only is it undeserved it is such a ridiculous cliche and it was annoyingly cringe.
At the beginning of the season Jack was in the past dealing with The Dark One as she originally took control. This was a decent watch, Jack carried the show fairly well and seeing how Dracula came to be added some good lore into the show. I also like how when Jack was changing the past it actually had direct consequences in the future, that was some smart plot writing.
When it went back to the modern day with the band back together this is where the season went back to being awful. Everything felt mediocre and just boring. There wasn't anything stand out until the finale and one other scene which I'll get into next. As much as I love the original gang they were just so boring and it seemed like the entire cast was just unmotivated and couldn't be bothered to act.
One of the 2 stand out parts of the season was Julius's death. Julius was one of my favourite characters in the entire show from start to finish. I loved him as a Vampire and I loved him as a human, watching him sacrifice himself was so heartbreaking, I'm starting to get really irritated seeing Aleks Paunovic's characters dying in shows because he is such a good character!
The finale was a decent episode for a lackluster season. I really enjoyed the action, seeing Dracula regain her power and use it to turn all the humans into Vampires in the surrounding vicinity was incredible. I love it when the gang band together and fight together, it's always hyped. I was quite disappointed in the way Dracula was defeated unfortunately. Watching Vanessa return for a few episodes and then get the glory at the end was extremely annoying, she didn't deserve to be the one to defeat Dracula, I feel like the death should have been more explosive and Vanessa should have died and Jack should have been the one to kill Dracula with her sister by her side - unfortunately Vanessa gets her way all of the time.
Overall the season was quite... meh. I really wish they did a lot better but unfortunately there's not much they can do now. It was an okay ending for a good show.
MY THOUGHTS ON CHILDREN OF THE WHALES:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Wow... This was magnificent. This is possibly one of the most beautiful Anime's I have ever watched. From the very first episode to the very last I was captivated. The only downfall it has is that they ended it only after 12 episodes when it could have very easily went on for 4+ seasons. I'll never understand why it was ended so early.
When you first start this you're given the impression that it'll be some slice of life happy-go-lucky anime that is all positivity and then BOOM the reality hits. This isn't some happy anime, it's brutal, sad and painful. My jaw dropped so many times whilst watching this, I even shed a tear at times. It has some of the most intense and beautiful scenes I have witnessed.
The concept behind this is beautiful too, the story keeps you watching and immersed and leaves you glued to the screen and waiting for the next episode to come on. The final episode opens up many doors for potential seasons with some potentially beautiful stories to be written. I'd love to know how the characters act when they realise there's more out there than they originally thought.
Whenever people ask for Anime recommendations I always recommend this one. It'll always hold this very close to my heart and remember it as the beautiful anime with a phenomenal story. I really wish it lasted longer than 12 episodes but hopefully one day someone will renew it and bless up with another season - one can only hope.
Overall rating: 9/10
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Cobra Kai comes kicking back with another BRILLIANT season! What a fantastic season this one was. I will admit I binged both Season 1 & 2 in a day but that's besides the point. This was impressive... Very impressive...
Season 2 showed just how much Kreese has a grip over Johnny & the effects his teachings have not only effected and shaped Johnny but how they're starting to effect Johnny's students - in particular Hawke & Miguel.
A lot of this season felt felt like it was focused on Johnny not only teaching his students about finding that grey area but also himself finding that grey area himself. I love how they haven't made it extremely cheesy with Johnny and turned him into some elite mastermind Sensei and have kept up with the flawed hero vibe they have going, its such a breath of fresh air.
With the return of Kreese we get to see the impact he has over Johnny and the manipulation that this man is capable of. You see this mainly with the teachings he is doing toward Johnny's students behind his back, Johnny tells them one thing and then Kreese intentionally tells them another thing. He slowly warps the minds of some of his students and we see who ends up believing in his beliefs at the end of the season (unfortunately).
We get to see a really beautiful episode with Johnny and his group of pals from Karate Kid, unfortunately they're all brought together by Tommy having Cancer and he has less than 24 hours to live. We get a really good reminiscing scene which is followed by a great bar fight and then unfortunately at the end the death of Tommy happens. Even though this was such an upsetting episode it was so beautifully handled and so much respect was put into it.
Throughout the Season you see Daniel focusing on Miyagi-do and his Daughter Sam & Robbie becoming his students. We start to see the strain that it brings onto his life & love life. As the season goes on we see Daniel try and find the balance he desperately needs especially with previous students of Cobra Kai leaving and joining Miyagi-do. I found that if was a great idea to show how Daniel struggled with being a sensei and passing on the lessons of Miyagi onto his students. It shows that both Johnny and Daniel are both more alike than they'd like to believe.
Now the finale. This episode absolutely destroyed me. I cried for SO long after this. Firstly I absolutely love Tory and I can understand her anger (doesn't justify what she did). The fight starts off with her and Sam and I was on the edge of my seat screaming for Tory to whoop her a** and then Robbie buts in and ends up hitting someone who was trying to help him? We're then introduced to Sam vs Tory & Miguel vs Robbie... and then Miyagi-do vs Cobra Kai. All the tensions that were building throughout the season all explode right here! The fighting was AMAZING! I didn't know who to root for, one minute I'm laughing and the next I'm yelling in anger! The best part of the fight has to be when Dimitri stands up to Hawk (or shall I say Eli) and beats him up and also how Stingray dealt with everyone. The worst part was seeing what Robbie does to Miguel. As soon as he was kicked over the rails I started to cry, that isn't an exaggeration either. Seeing him fall and then finally hit the stairs broke me. One of my favourite characters critically injured like that and potentially not walking again or even surviving really hurt. I just hope Robbie gets what he deserves.
In the Hospital there's a scene where both Johnny & Daniel stand in the elevator together, glance at each other and stand in silence. They both knew they were at blame and they just stood in silence. This to me was such a powerful scene, showing not only us but both Johnny and Daniel that their actions have not only effected themselves and their family but also the younger generation.
Then there was the final scene with Kreese. How snake like he was (he really is a cobra) and how he went behind Johnny's back and took ownership of Cobra Kai and also brainwashed his students to the point where they've left Johnny and have become Kreese's permanent students (Hawke, Tory & Stingray are some of the more notable characters). This was such a horrible thing to do and it irritated me beyond belief. I cant wait to see what happens to him in season 3.
Finally there was the friend request from Ali. This pretty much confirms her return in Season 3. I have a feeling she'll come and save Miguel or something along the lines of that but I truthfully have no idea. I'm just really excited to see how they play this one out!
Overall this was another incredible season and its 100% my favourite show. I am baffled with how 1 show can be so incredible.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 6:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Right, this one won't be as meaty as my others because as you're all aware, Alone isn't a plot driven show. I'll just write about; the contestant I thought was going to win, who won, what I thought about the location & major moments in the season. Let's get this started!
Who I Thought Would Win
Truthfully straight from the get go I wanted Jordan to win. He was my number 1. I'm not sure what it was about it him that made me root for him but as the season went on and he had his troubles with Wolverines & he killed a Moose I knew he was an instant favourite. How he handled everything and how he seemed to have this laugh about it all personality just made him so likeable for me.
What I Thought on the Winner
If you read the previous paragraphs you'll know straight away I was happy with the winner. Seeing Jordan win was great, there's nothing better than rooting for a contestant on a show and then they actually win it. Jordan had some of the BEST moments in this Season, at times he actually made it look relatively easy. Well deserved win for him & I'm glad he got it.
The Location
This Season took a change and was based in the Great Slave Lake. Their biggest enemy here was the Arctic winter and how terribly cold it got. As a whole I didn't mind the change in location, I prefer the Vancouver Island mainly because it just looks nicer, besides that silly reason I don't really care about the location. Having them settle here though I had my doubts if anyone would be able to survive that long there. Faced against the harsh winter and the predator animals they really had everything against them. I'm happy with the location choice but then again they could try and survive in a back garden and I'd still watch it.
Major moments
Typing from the top of my head, for me the main moments this season for me were the killing of the Moose, Jordan's battle with the Wolverine & the Shelter fire. Besides that I can't really remember anything else.
Firstly, The Moose. This part absolutely baffled me, I remember watching it and my jaw dropped, I messaged my friend and told them what just happened. How Jordan managed to kill a Moose was beyond me, such an incredible feat to accomplish, well done. That seriously takes some skill.
Secondly, The Wolverine. This little bugger was one of the most frustrating parts to watch, seeing him slowly have a war with Jordan was one of the funniest yet most irritating parts and it really showed the mistakes Jordan was making (such as leaving the ladder up). I was just so glad to find out that Jordan had finally defeated him!
Finally, The Fire! This was such a silly mistake honestly, I actually can't believe it happened. Poor Nathan was doing so well and I was slowly finding myself rooting for him and then POOF! Shelter came down in flames. I remember watching it and thinking "Yeah he won't be coming back from this" and he done what any smart person would do and called it quits. Such a shame he had to tap out like that but hey, it happens!
Thanks for reading!
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
I'm going to start this off with a question, why does everyone dislike this season so much? I found it so enjoyable to watch and I actually liked it just as much as Season 1.
Yeah this season lacked the flare that season 1 had but that doesn't make it bad in the slightest. Its story was decent and was fun to follow. I love how they're slowly showing the early stages of the war that's begun between the New Gods and the Old Gods. Personally I feel like the New Gods are going to win this but who knows? Maybe Shadow Moon has something up his sleeve that'll bring the win for the Old Gods?
One of the moments that completely shocked me was when the New Gods decided to fight back and shot up the store and in doing so killed Zorya. That was such an upsetting death, seeing the pain in Mr. Wednesday's eyes whilst he watched her die was heartbreaking. The scene when Czernobog laid his curse was so powerful though, i had so many goosebumps whilst watching it. 10/10 for the emotion there.
A strong character in this season was Mad Sweeney. He was incredible in season 1 and he hit the ball out the park yet again in season 2. Every scene with him in it was absolutely brilliance. How someone can act so well is beyond me. It was so painful to watch him die by Shadow Moon though. It was understandable though, seeing as he no longer owed Mr. Wednesday a single thing and he wanted payback, its just a shame such a brilliant character had to die like that. What I do wonder though is if Gods can come back, can Mad Sweeney? Hopefully Season 3 answers that question. And hopefully if its a new actor he'll be able to be just as good as Pablo Schreiber was.
One of my favourite episodes has to be "House on the Rock". The scene where the Gods had their meeting together and you got to see all of them in their "true" forms was great. It wasn't too major of a scene but the character design and the effects then were incredible. I also really enjoyed how not everyone is siding with Mr. Wednesday and how Shadow Moon admitted he believes in Mr. Wednesday, it was such a powerful moment.
I don't have as much to write for this season due to it feeling much quicker than the first. It was extremely enjoyable to watch but there wasn't as many plot elements that I personally picked up on to write about. I'm extremely excited for Season 3, can't wait to see how they'll play out the war that's brewing, how Czernobog will act after the death of Zorya and whether or not someone will return as Mad Sweeney. Definitely glad I watched this.
MY THOUGHTS ON NARUTO:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
I honestly believe this is one of the greatest Shounen Anime of all time. The characters all are written amazingly (except the female characters but I'll get to that) and each of the main story lines are all great, filled with action, emotion, betrayal and incredible story telling. Id highly recommend this Anime to absolutely anyone, no matter what your favourite genre is, give it a go & see what you think!
The Characters:
Each character in my opinion is written extremely well (besides a few), each team has at least 2 characters that you get to know well and get to learn so much about. Ill write briefly about each team and what I thought about them:
Team Guy: Possibly one of the better Teams in my eyes. This team consists of Neji, Rock Lee & Tenten. Neji & Rock Lee are both the standouts for this team alongside their Sensei Guy. All 3 characters have incredible character development and also do a lot of work in the main story Arcs. Unfortunately just like the majority of the female characters Tenten falls short.
Team 8: Personally this is my favourite team. This team is Led by Kurenai (one of the best Genjutsu users of her generation), this team consists of Hinata, Kiba & Shino. All 3 characters are written fairly well with Hinata being one of the only female characters with decent character development. Both Shino & Kiba have been my favourite characters ever since I first originally watched the Anime. Kiba & Akamaru are the cutest team in the show and also have incredible Jutsu's. Shino and his bugs are also one of the deadliest and most interesting dynamics in the Anime (I need more Shino!!) and finally, Hinata being one of the Hyuga Clan has her Byakugan, helping make this one of the better scout squads.
Team 10: This team is led by one of my favourite team leaders, Asuma Sarutobi. The team consists of Shikamaru, Ino & Choji. Besides Shikamaru I don't think this team shines bright at all, Neither Choji nor Ino have any decent character development and maybe have one or two episode's where they slightly shine a bit brighter. Shikamaru is a solid character throughout the entire Anime and adds a lot to it but unfortunately his Squad just didn't have the same treatment as him.
Team 7: The main squad, led by Kakashi and consisting of Naruto, Sasuke & Sakura. Everyone knows and loves this team. I'm going to be honest though, I don't care for Kakashi, I don't find him an entertaining character in the slightest... I love Naruto and find his character development throughout the Anime amazing & I feel the exact same way with Sasuke. I can't wait to see what Shippuden has in store between the two of them. The only downfall to this team is Sakura. Unfortunately she, alongside the majority of the female characters, didn't get the same treatment as the male characters in her Squad. Sakura honestly does nothing for the Anime besides irritating me.
Team Sand: Consisting of Gaara, Temari & Kankuro is the team from the Sand. Honestly this team is amazing, Gaara was terrifying when he was first introduced, being the only Shinobi to have never been scratched and he got one of the best redemption arks I have seen. The fact that Gaara also has the one tailed beast inside of him, makes him even more deadly! Plus don't get me started on his fight with Rock Lee, WOW!!! Kankuro is also such an interesting Shinobi, using puppets as his main source of Attack and Defence, I can't wait to see what Shippuden has in store for him. Finally the team has Temari, Temari is the BEST Female character in the Anime. Not only is she deadly and beautiful... She is written incredibly well just like Kankuro & Gaara. I'm glad she got the same treatment.
As I mentioned earlier I don't believe the female characters got the same treatment as the males and unfortunately it shows, with Hinata & Temari being the only 2 female characters that I personally think were written well. This is one of the only few downfalls to the characters but it isn't a major downfall.
In Conclusion:
This is one of my favourite Anime, the story is incredible and the characters all hold up fairly well. Unfortunately this Anime is riddled with pesty, boring fillers that are painful to watch. I'd say watch them on your first run but if you ever plan on rewatching the Anime, skip them all. The only decent fillers are the final ones just before Naruto leaves the village and maybe the Curry of Life but that's more funny than interesting.
Each main story arc was pretty great, seeing Naruto start as the Shinobi that no one believed in and then ending up being one of the better Shinobis and leaving the village to train with one of the greatest Shinobi, Jiraiya. I can't wait to see what happens with Sasuke in Shippuden after his retrieval was a failure.
I also really like how each member of Team 7 gets trained by a member of The Legendary Saanin. Naruto gets the Pervy Sage Jiraiya (Toads!!), Sasuke gets Orochimaru (Snakes!!) And finally Sakura gets Grandma Tsunade (Slugs!!) I dont know why but I really like that.
Another of my favourite aspects of the Anime are the Summons, I find them all so cool and fascinating. Personally my favourite Summons are the Snakes (I have a Manda tattoo) but the Toads are also pretty great. Hopefully Shippuden adds some more Summons & more Summon battles.
Also, what's up with this Akatsuki? Can't wait to see what Shippuden has in store for them, not sure whether to be worried or excited...
This one an amazing Anime and I'd 100% recommend.
Overall Rating: 10/10
Lost is an all-time classic! If you have yet to watch this please don't be swayed by people's opinions and reviews, give it a go and form your own opinion.
Personally this is one of if not the best TV Show I have watched in a very, very long time. After finishing this I have yet to find a show with so much depth, mystery and fantastic characters such as Lost provides. I highly recommend everyone gives this a try! 10/100
What has happened to The Walking Dead?? This was so damn boring, not even Rick could save this.
MY THOUGHTS ON OUTSIDERS:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
This was a brilliant show that unfortunately ended a lot earlier than I felt that it should have. It had a lot of potential and I honestly feel like it lived up to it. It's one of my favourite shows and I'll always remember it very fondly, it's just a shame that they didn't let it run for another season or 2.
The cast in this show were all phenomenal, each and every one of them flowed perfectly together and all complimented each other very well. One second you're hating on a character and the next second you're loving that exact same character and hating on a character you previously loved! I love it when shows are like this because it constantly keeps you watching and wondering what the next character ark will be.
When it comes to the characters I absolutely HATED Big Foster early on in the show. I felt like he was one of the most irritating characters in a show and every scene I was watching him in I was praying for his downfall and just wanted him either shunned or killed off. Early on in the show I absolutely loved Asa and the Sherriff, whenever they were on the screen I was always excited to see what was going to happen but this very quickly changed.Come the second season I now absolutely adored Big Foster and Lil Foster, they were both my favourite characters and each scene they were in was so detailed and fun to watch... Unfortunately I hated Asa and the Sherriff with both characters becoming two of the most annoying characters in the show. It was amazing how in only 2 seasons they managed to create such depth for the characters in it.
The plot in this show is brilliant. It keeps you captivated from start to finish and you're always wanting more. How they managed to piece this together was extremely impressive and I can't explain just how impressed I am with the show. One scene that really impressed me was when the Sherriff finally found out where the clan was living and he climbed the mountain thinking he stood a chance against them yet the leader showed just how big the clan really was and his face dropped at the realisation. That scene still brings goosebumps to me.
I really do recommend this show to everyone, it is absolutely fantastic. It has it's downfalls like every show does but they're so small and insignificant I can't even remember most of them. I really wish the show didn't end so early, I'll always keep my fingers crossed for a third season.
Overall rating: 8/10
MY THOUGHTS ON DISENCHANTMENT:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
I am SO disappointed in this! I really had high expectations and hopes going into this, a Netflix Cartoon Comedy created by the great Matt Groening? What isn't there to love! Well in this case - everything. I really thought this would be incredible but of course not, I'm starting to think the more I expect from shows the less they deliver... Maybe I'm just bad luck?
Firstly I will say the designing of this show was very beautiful, all characters were drawn lovely. Unfortunately that can only go so far, I mean even s**t can be drawn well. After the first episode I thought "well that was awful but let's continue" the reason I continued is because I tend to have a 5 episode rule, give a show five episodes and if it doesn't impress by then then I just give up.
After I hit episode five I disliked the show and removed it from my continue watching. It just got worse and worse and there wasn't anything that kept me wanting to watch the show, the characters were irritating, the writing was boring, the jokes weren't funny and the pacing was awful. Looking back I really wish they did better with this but unfortunately some shows aren't for everyone.
Overall this was yet another disappointing cartoon for me, I really wish they did better but you can't please everyone, this could be someone's favourite show and here's me hating on it, I suppose that's the beauty of humans aye? We all love different things. I personally wouldn't recommend it but who knows, I've seen a lot of good written about this but to me It wasn't worth the time I spent watching it.
Overall rating: 2/10
MY THOUGHTS ON PRISON BREAK:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
My thoughts on this might raise a few eyebrows. I didn't hate the show nor did I dislike it... I was just extremely disappointed in it. The first season was phenomenal and I absolutely loved every second of it. The cast was amazing (besides 1 character but i'll get into that after.) The plot was brilliant and the pacing was perfect. My downfall was the second season.
Season One set the standard for the entire show extremely high. It was that good you expect the rest of the show to be amazing too, which in my eyes is a fair expectation... Unfortunately that doesn't happen. You're left with a mediocre second season which is miserable from the get go. Season 1 had it all, action, suspense, thrills, literally everything you could want from a show like this whereas season 2 felt flat, it didn't provide me with what season 1 did.
Where my main issues came in season 2 was the pacing, it felt all over the place. One second it was fast and the next it was too slow, I didn't enjoy the plot itself either and I felt they could do significantly better. Unfortunately that didn't happen. After I got roughly half way through season 2 I decided it would be best to just give up on the show and find something else to watch seeing as I wasn't enjoying the show as much as I thought I would be.
Another big problem with the show that I had is Sarah Wayne Callies. I can not stand her as an actress, literally everything she has been in has been ruined for me simply because of her, She consistently winds me up and I'm always wanting to end the show or movie because of her. She is 100% my least favourite actress and because of that a lot of season one and two I found annoying because she has a big part to play.
Unfortunately I don't ever see myself rewatching this show, It's a shame because I heard many, many positives about it and it really seems like I'm the odd man out not liking this but hey, you can't like them all.
Overall rating: 6/10
MY THOUGHTS ON CASTLEVANIA:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
I'm going to start this off strong and say this... I honestly believe Castlevania is the best TV Show to Animation adaption that I have seen. Everything it does was done perfectly. The action was amazing, the dialogue was amazing, the characters were well written, extremely fleshed out and very believable and finally the plot was great. There'es not much more I could have asked from this show.
Of course with most shows there's boring episodes or even seasons and Castlevania was one of those shows but does that make it any less of a show? No. Even with some bad or boring episodes in my eyes Castlevania still manages to be one of the best video game animation adaptations that I have seen. I'm honestly quite gutted that I won't be seeing anymore seasons of this, I really hope the team behind this are thinking of something new.
Overall Castlevania was a brilliant Animation and I'll forever remember it fondly, It's a shame it had to end but all good things must end. I'll miss this one and hopefully one day we get to see some more. If you're looking for an Animation that has some good action scenes, great characters and a good plot then I definitely recommend this. My only concern is at times it definitely drags on and gets a bit stale and boring but if you look past those episodes you'll enjoy it.
Overall rating: 7/10.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 10:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Well this was long... Very long. As a whole the Season was decent, wasn't anything special but it wasn't awful. It had some really good moments and some really boring moments, unfortunately to me they all ended up being a tad bit unmemorable. You can tell they've started trying to make the show a lot more horror again and its definitely a good thing, in fact it's one of the saving graces for season 10.
With Daryl now the central character and having a lot more screen time I've come to realise he's not too good as the main character. Whenever he's given long talks or people look at him as the leader it seems way, way too forced. He comes across as cringe and uncomfortable. If anything they should have given the main character role to Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan, I feel like that would have been a lot better for conversation and storytelling.
If I'm honest I can't remember much of Season 10 due to the ridiculous gaps, this season just felt like a massive blur and the only emotion that sparks when I think back on it is boredom. The season pretty much ended on episode 15, the unnecessary wait for the finale (due to covid - weird how no other show struggled with the things TWD struggled with huh?) caused a lot of hype for me to die down. I remember finding out it was delayed and then just completely forgetting about the show.
With this season I'd say the best moments are when Alpha dies and finally when Beta dies... Conveniently two moments where Negan is involved. Jeffrey Dean Morgan absolutely carries this show and without him it'd be an even bigger disaster. The scene where he killed Alpha was executed to perfection, I had slowly started to actually like Alpha and seeing her have her head chopped off was crazy. I loved Negan's smug little face afterwards. With the finale fight scene with Negan & Daryl vs Beta I was incredibly disappointed with how short it was BUT seeing as there wasn't much else to compare it too in this season it ended up standing out.
Overall this season was OK. In my eyes its a highly forgettable season and when you look back on The Walking Dead this won't be a season that will be a big conversation topic. Honestly it's a shame its gone downhill like this because I really do love The Walking Dead but this season was yet another snoozefest and I kept finding myself not wanting to watch certain episodes or losing my focus half way through.
This Season proves that The Walking Dead is in fact a Zombie of its former self and thankfully the end is near with Season 11 being its final. Part of me can really understand why certain actors have left. Its a shame that this season was an improvement compared to others.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Another brilliant season for Line of Duty. This show is an absolute masterpiece and so far they have yet to fail. Keeley Hawkes performed incredibly as D.I. Lindsey Denton alongside an already stellar cast.
Season 2 follows an escort gone wrong, leaving the entire convoy dead besides D.I. Lindsey Denton & a severely burned witness. As the season goes on cracks in Lindsey Denton's story about what happened slowly begin to appear. Leaving AC-12 suspicious of her. Slowly we start to see small truths in her stories, showing us that there's more to what happened than what we believe.
The two main points in this season was escorting the witness & the child exploitation. I'll write my opinion on both below.
Firstly, the witness escort. This plot line was absolute class. Slowly seeing how Lindsey Denton lied and seeing the pieces put together at the end was brilliant. I had so many ideas of what was happening but each of them was wrong. Knowing that the witness was actually Tommy was an absolute mind baffling moment. I almost screamed at the screen when I saw his horrible face again.
Some other big points during this plot line was the death of Georgia & the involvement of Dot. I'll do a quick write about them. Seeing Georgia die like that was possibly one of the worst scenes I've seen. I really liked her & seeing the fear in her eyes as she was thrown out of the window was devastating. She was such a good addition to the show and unfortunately she was short lived.
Knowing Dot was the mastermind behind it all was an incredible twist! I hated him in season one but wow, I hate that I love him now! I can't wait to see what they do in season 3 with him, I have a feeling it'll be his last season though & they'll make him the main target, I'm not too sure though.
Finally there was the child exploitation plotline. This made me sick to the stomach. Having the police & higher up members of the police force having relations with underage people disgusted me. One scene that got to me was when Tommy attacked Carly Kirk after Mike Dryden drove away. A lot of the child related scenes made me feel awful. Knowing that members of the police force (people who swore to protect us) were taking advantage of a young girl was disgusting.
Overall this was a phenomenal season and I loved every episode and every moment of it. I can not wait to watch season 3. Jed Mercurio has an absolutely incredible mind. Can't wait to see what else he writes up.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 1:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
WOW! This show is incredible! After one season this has already got to be one of my favourite Shows. The amount of twists and turns that it takes that I never see coming is ridiculous, I love it! There's been so many times I've looked at the screen and shouted "WHAT?" and been completely baffled... And that's just the first season?
The plot is incredible and it has one of the most detailed stories I've watched. Lennie James does yet another incredible performance as Tony Gates. I wasn't too keen on Kate Flemming but as the season went on I slowly started to appreciate her more. Steve Arnott is an incredible addition though, the courage he has is amazing. He doesn't care what rank you are, if he wants to say something, he'll say it. No one compares to Ted Hastings though, Adrian Dunbar has done an incredible performance as him.
Each episode felt like they were at least 2-3 episodes with how detailed they are. This show really is a blink and you'll miss it type of show, if you're going in half focused then I'd say don't bother at all, you really need to put your focus into this otherwise you're missing a masterpiece. At one moment you're saying "He's guilty. Its all him!" and the next minute your jaw is dropped because a twist has happened that you couldn't see coming from a mile off.
One character I absolutely despised was Ryan. How one child can be so irritating is beyond me, watching him on that stupid bike shouting "Bent B*****d!!!" was so frustrating. The scream of pure joy I made when Tony finally gave in and hit him with the spanner, no child has deserved that more than him.
I think the 2 best moments for me this season (moments that made my jaw drop) was when Jackie Laverty was murdered & when Tony Gates ended his life. I remember saying out loud "Jackie will be the villain this season, she'll be the main problem" and not 2 minutes later she was killed. I didn't even like the character yet I was still extremely shocked. Tony Gates ending his life was a fitting ending for me and it felt right for his character. He went out in the only way in which his wife and children got everything, its almost admirable. For a character that was constantly thrown in the limelight as the bent copper I honestly felt sorry for him, he'll always have my support.
Honestly 1 season in and I'm in love. I can't wait to carry on watching this masterpiece. There truthfully wasn't a single bad episode and I caught myself wanting to watch more and more until I realised I was actually now on Season 2. Possibly a contender for my favourite TV Show of all time.
P.S. I hate Dot.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 3:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
Another brilliant season. This show keeps on getting better and better. I hate that after each season I finish, I'm 1 season closer to the final one. I adore the entire cast and this season just solidifies why. Let's go into detail.
The Ghost Chapter: Ep 1 - 7
Starting off the first main plot point for the season was Jeremy and his new ability to see Ghosts. This brought back two previously dead characters: Vicki & Anna. Honestly I didn't care much for this, Jeremy for me is one of the weak points of the show, his character is so bland and they keep switching him up left and right like they don't know themselves what to do with him.
Bringing Anna back was a great surprise for me. I absolutely loved her character back when she was alive and kicking, it was just a shame she had to go. Vicki on the other hand never fails to annoy me. I can see why they brought her back but I don't know, wouldn't Jeremy be thinking about his parents more than Vicki & Anna? Overall the addition of Jeremy seeing Ghosts was interesting but it just didn't add much to me.
The Originals Chapter: Ep 8 - 15
Secondly we had our fun with The Originals and their plot line. Honestly, I shouldn't even have to go into detail at why this was so good, all of The Originals NEVER fail to impress me. Joseph Morgan is an absolute gift to The Vampire Diaries, alongside Daniel Gillies.
Bringing the entire family back was a great move for me, I loved seeing Mikael for what little time we did & Kol is incredible. Unfortunately I didn't care much for their mother. I really expected her to be the big bad witch of Mystic Falls but she really fell short.
The Bloodlines Chapter: Ep 16 - 22
Thirdly and finally we got introduced to the whole Bloodlines & how Vampire's descend from 1 Vampire and if you destroy that Vampire, you destroy the entire line. This was a good little plot point & the tension and worry it brought to the table was incredible. How could Damon & Stefan kill Niklaus if he was their "sire"?
We finally get rid of Niklaus's mother and THANK GOD. That felt so pointless, I know it was added for the whole family dynamic for The Originals but my God she was so disappointing. I feel like they really could have done much more with her than they did but unfortunately, they let me down.
A good part during the last few episodes was finding out Alaric is behind the murders. Alaric being one of my favourite characters this shocked me majorly like I honestly didn't see this coming. Best thing about this though was how great Matthew Davis can play a villain! Evil Alaric was great! I can't wait to see if Alaric is brought into any other trouble in season 4.
The last big point was the unfortunate death of Elena Gilbert. Will she back? Obviously. It was only a matter of time before she was going to become a Vampire. Hopefully this brings a bit of life to Elena though because I am so sick and tired of her running from Brother to Brother and acting like the damsel in distress whilst also acting like the heroine? It makes 0 sense. Fingers crossed Vampire Elena brings something new to the table for Season 4.
Overall I loved this season, yeah it had some bad points but what season doesn't? It kept me interested and entertained the entire time and I can't wait to get started on Season 4!
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
I'm going to be honest, I REALLY didn't like this. It was so painful to watch and I really had to force myself to get through this. The only parts keeping me interested in watching Season 3 is how they'll play out Lilith's & Gabrielle's story... We'll get to that later though.
The beginning of this season was okay, really slow but it was watchable. Then it went downhill, every episode was a complete drag to get through. It started looking up when they introduced the second Order, after that the episodes were actually really enjoyable.
With the first few episodes I really didn't appreciate what they done to the Order, I understood the whole taking their memories part but completely ruining their characters was such a bad shout. The only character in The Order that's somewhat fun now is Randall, the rest are so unnecessary at this point. Like, Jack is the most irritating protagonist I have ever laid my eyes on, all he ever does is complain and try and be the good guy for The Order... You're literally a Werewolf, you're meant to destroy The Order? Then there's Hamish. He was one of my favourite characters in Season One and they completely destroyed him. He's gone from badass to following Vera around like a lost puppy?
Now, let's get to Lilith. What happened to her was super interesting. She got taken down to the Demon realm and after months and months of trying to get her back they finally do but she's now clearly a Demon herself? Its pretty obvious she'll be the main Antagonist of Season 3, I'm really curious to see how they'll play off a Demon/Werewolf. This part was one of the redeeming moments for this season.
Now the best part, Gabrielle Dupres! God she is amazing. Season one she was so irritating but now she's a breath of fresh air. She adds so much to this show and honestly without her and Randall I don't see this show lasting too long. The addition of her becoming a Werewolf is pretty damn interesting, i feel like she's going to be the "Big Bad Wolf" of the show and honestly, I feel like she'll not only pull it off but she'll pull it off with style.
Now let's get to the final part, the very last jaw dropping scene of the season. The death of one of the most boring characters written to date, Alyssa! THANK GOD they went with this route. This right here was one of the best calls they have done in this show. All she did this season was add an extra dose of stupidity to it and when your lead character is someone like Jack... You really don't need an Alyssa.
In conclusion Season 3 seriously has to bring something special to the table and it has to be extremely good. Season 2 was such a disappointment especially seeing as how good Season 1 was. I'll give the next season a go but I don't have high expectations for it at all.
MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
This was good, it was just shy of great though... Altogether it was funny, witty, emotional and at times even gripping but ultimately it fell short of what made season 1 so incredible. Season 1 had this magic about it; it felt fresh, the story was believable, the emotion felt raw and the jokes were hilarious but with this season everything just fell a little bit short.
I'm not saying this season was bad, it was far from bad, it was really good. Its just that the season wasn't needed in my opinion. Season one had a beautiful story that was written amazingly from start to finish. The ending felt perfect for it and I didn't see the need in continuing the story any further, the idea of this broken man finally finding a reason just to try and be happier was a good enough ending for me.
I understand why they created this season, to carry on with his story but I just really don't think it was necessary and I think because of how unnecessary it was this season took a brief fall for it and it showed in every aspect. The jokes weren't as funny, the emotion wasn't as raw and the story wasn't as gripping. They're more than likely going to create a season 3 and unfortunately I believe each season will slowly get worse and worse until finally the show is cancelled. This series really should have ended with season 1 and it would have been remembered as the amazing show it is. As I said though, it was good... Just nowhere near as good as season 1.
Well that was awful and a complete waste of time, extremely disappointed in this to be honest.
This was great!! Very, very funny and it kept me laughing right from the start till the very end. The entire cast were brilliant in their roles - I especially enjoyed Giorgia Whigham as Blaire & Max Burkholder as John.
Really hope they don't cut this short and they return for a second season as we need more entertaining comedies like this around! 8/10
Actually had to force myself to watch this which is HIGHLY disappointing as I'm a huge fan of the movies and books. Once again I found it highly disappointing and mediocre at best. Very much doubt I'll stick around for season 2.
Besides having stellar animation and a fantastic soundtrack "Entergalactic" didn't offer me anything else, the story was a bit mediocre and it left me with no opportunity to connect with the characters. Was good for background sound and as a movie to fall asleep to but I highly doubt I'd go out of my way to watch it again. 6/10
This was fantastic, kept me hooked all throughout. It's extremely fun, violent and the acting is outstanding. If you are a big fan of Vikings or Norse Mythology definitely give this a go!! 10/10
