What a bad ending to this once great show... This season made no sense at all.
It feels like this show is a bit under the radar, it's pretty good though. (5 episodes in)
Hope it doesn't get cancelled.
Definitely enjoy this show more than I used to. I was so close to dropping it in the first few episodes. It felt really weird, especially the characters, they didn't feel real.
The more I watch the more I like it, enjoy it. Brian Cox's performance kept me in, the scene in this season where he shames everyone was so hilarious!
In the end I think I dislike every character in this show and I think that's why I like it.
Pretty good last episode but let's not forget that this show ran for way too long with so many unnecessary storylines. I liked the initial concept (the two sides of the same story was very interesting). If I remember correctly season 1 and 2 were really nice to watch.
3 episodes in. I wasn't expecting anything from this but it's just a great mix of absurd and fun. Definitely recommend this to anyone.
Don't think this show was needed, too many episodes where I was just bored. The original anime was just way better.
While I enjoyed Band of Brothers too, this feels a lot more closer to reality. Like @Alex Cano said, not for the "patriotic" guys.
A must watch for all The Wire/David Simon's fans, you can watch it before or after. It's great. Note that it's not related to the story of The Wire, it just happens on Baltimore too.
Well, this is it for me. Too bad... the cast, Joss Whedon and HBO looked promising but this is just plain boring. It just failed to interest me. No storyline is anywhere near good or interesting. Hope it gets better for those who continue.

I agree with @xelra, most proper animer ever made. I really feel like it can appeal to non-anime fans, if I had one to recommend for them it would be this one for sure. (and Monster too)
I wasn't expecting this to be that good, very subtle drama. Well worth the watch.
Very nice rock anime, too bad it got cut short. The main thing that I didn't like was the beef between Sykes and Ryusuke, I felt like it had no part in this show and was kinda ruining the overall mood/vibe of the anime.

Good teenage drama, especially in the first season, even if you're not into this kind of stuff you can like it. Give it a try!
David Simon, the only guy that could have made me like this show. I'm not into jazz, I felt it was slow, especially at the start, but at the end of it I really cared about it and the characters. Only HBO could have created and given this show 4 seasons.
Pretty good show overall, I liked it better than expected for a romance drama. I was very confused by the ending, I'm not sure if it got cancelled or not, I'm going to check the manga 'cause the anime definitely left things unfinished.
Doesn't feel like a cable show, the story is so generic... Hope this gets better.

Turns out that the second season is actually another show called "1993" for those interested.
Promising at first, I liked the action/comedy but it just became worse and worse. The ending is bad & stupid, they have an idea that is not going to work but they do it anyway...
Watch 'End of Evangelion' after the 24th episode.
Such a poor ending. I'll have to rewatch this but it should have ended sooner. Last 2 seasons were unnecessary at the very least
